Thanks for the update. As you say. Not meriting a specific journey (I have made plenty to Artemis in the past). I usually like to do 2 clubs in / near Hamburg then Artemis then train to Frankfurt. But I'm not sure I would stop off in Berlin (other than it being a great city) given the recent reports when there are plenty of other options in other German cities.

For sure it is correct that the World has changed, but in so many cities and locations the resurrection you describe has seen a return to almost identical or very close to equal status with these venues pre-pandemic. I don't just mean in Germany. By way of examples, our sport has survived unscathed in Dubai, Madrid, Costa del Sol, London, Manchester. I do not notice any difference at all now from the pre-covid position other than some price increases. Why is Berlin so different? Even in Germany I have been back to Frankfurt and Berlin only during and after the pandemic. I visited Berlin / Artemis in August 2020 and even during the pandemic the club seemed in better shape than recent reports. For sure there have been victims of the pandemic. Thailand and Singapore are only really re-opening now. Oase in Hessen has not returned to its former glory, at least not in my personal opinion based on 2 trips only. Reading the World forum it sounds like it has not recovered, though many would say it was on the decline before the pandemic. I believe Paradise in Stuttgart has closed? But reports from Hamburg clubs, Munich, thesseldorf, Cologne (see recent very positive Samya report) and from my own several visits to Sharks and Palace show that in fact these clubs have all returned to pre-covid status. That is very much the position in Dubai, Spain and the UK.

I would therefore have expected Berlin, and Artemis, with its complete lack of competition (about which we have all complained for many years) to have been able to achieve what Sharks, or Atmos, or Harmony, or Palace has.

You are correct about limiting expectations. And of course there is no substitute for visiting to find out personally what the picture is. But as Steve 9696 says, it is currently not worth a special visit. When the most expensive entry FKK club (90 e) in Germany cannot recover sufficiently to warrant making a special journey it is in danger of failing to attract tourists. My guess is it would survive on local customers if it needed to, and I would personally be very sad to see it fail, but it's not just customers. If the numbers are low, and punters willing to spend are not high in number, girls will vote with their feet to work in other locations where clubs have completed their full resurrection.

I will repeat what I said in my previous post. Artemis has long been my favorite club. I like the layout and so far as I know it is the only club with a gym. I have found that a great way of spending recovery time between sessions. But ultimately I can go to a gym anywhere. It's all about the girls / line up and value for money. Very valid argument, can't refute it much. Not sure why Artemis is taking a long time to rebound. Gentlemen, the whole world has changed after 2019. Artemis will surely change it is up to us to adapt. Comparing today with 2019 and before will not do you any benefit, because 2019 is no longer a relevant benchmark (I read some guys are comparing it to 2015. Artemis is not in full control of the ladies, the economy, the purchasing power, inflation, the taxes and the many other variables that affect its business, especially the number of available girls. After years of closure and slow to non-existent business, it is a miracle that the place is still functioning.

I say there's a new page that has been started and Artemis has resurrected post covid. Anything before that period is far from being attainable at least on the short run and hence should not be used as a benchmark.

That being said, having the right, modest, realistic expectations that take into account the external changes is key. Having 2019 expectations as if nothing has changed, will ruin your experience.

OK let's start with I was overly harsh. The girls are pretty spread out. I was thinking of the bar area. Prob more like 20-25 milling about somewhere. And def a lot of them were occupied. When I went upstairs usually only 5 ish rooms left on the board.
