For what it's worth, I saw a similar question in the guestbook on their site, which was answered by the management: "Only male guests are allowed."

Did you see this on the Artemis web site? I am not sure that this is policy but I am guessing it could be. Some female friends of mine have asked and I always say I am not sure. My feeling was that generally it would not be a good idea. It is very much a male fantasy environment

But I also wonder if a girl showed up with a man, she might be allowed as long as she did not go fucking the guests for free and generally taking business from the girls. But then I wonder really if the Artemis environment would be comfortable for this. I can imagine the girls getting a bit hostile if this unknown element were introduced.

As for plain old lesbians-why would they do this? There are plenty of lesbian bars, both more conventional and places where a girl could probably get laid (or fisted or whatever) in the bar. This is Berlin after all and there is a huge gay and lesbian community here.

All that said, I do remember a discussion about this on the Oase (I think) thread. It seems there was a couple showing up there for a while and taking willing girls to the room, presumably all paid. But who knows the arrangement they made. All was fine until the female partner discovered that she herself wanted to work there and signed on as a working girl. Not sure how her male partner felt about this.

Maybe someone reading this from the Oase thread remembers more?

Angus' own feeling towards this is that I am very comfortable with all manner of sexual choices others make. I have broken bread and shared drinks with trannies(post & preop), dykes, male hustlers, hard core street girls, pansexuals, lesbian vampires, the lot. While I always enjoy a chat and finding common ground, I would prefer Artemis to remain more or less a straight male environment where we go to share paid intimate time with regular girls. That way nobody gets confused as to what is going on. This just feels cleaner to me.

The guy who walked across the video was quite visible and as a result I trashed what was the best take I had and did a new one. Next up I will try to learn face blurring ( i am sure it is pretty easy) so as not to have to swing the camera around so much when I am in the UBahn station.

Face blurring is something easy to achieve with any video software. It can be quite cpu intensive and require a fast machine (or a lot of time) because every single frame has to be processed after the "mask" has been positioned (and repositioned in case of movement).

Face blurring is not so effective though. I'm sure any person really close to you that see's a video where your face is blurred might still recognise you from many other details.

In this situation, face blurring might protect you legally but still only slightly protect the privacy of the person filmed. No problem if the person is walking in a ubahn station, maybe more if he is walking out of Artemis or similar place.

Didn't want to make a fuss out of this, just trying to give you my point of view.

I am sure that this is likely a mis-type from a non-native English speaker, but it brings up a question that I had, do these clubs allow women customers that are bi- or lesbian, or are these clubs (FKKs, PartyTreffs, etc) exlusively the preserve of the male species when it comes to customers? Certainly, I could see participation of bi- at a swinger club or something, but generally I would assume that there are clubs that cater specifically to women. This inquiring mind wants to know!!

Personally I think that Artemis + cameras + internet is something that might get people scared and nervous.

I really hope the next videos (if there must be) will happen somewhere else.

My wanting to contact Artemis is to do with another matter, not the videos. I want to do a spoken interview mainly to get info for a book I am working on and plan publish. Names, Nationalities, indeed any identifying information will be changed and/or not mentioned. Anyone who is mentioned will be asked and have power of veto, given the chance to read anything before going to press. I have no intention of outing anyone, even myself. My new job puts me in a more sensitive position than I am in right now.

Artemis has already had a couple of major TV stations shoot videos in the club at open times, though very early in the day and no men were ever visible, the women having their faces blurred. I have no plans, for obvious reasons, to do any video shooting in any club. The Walk with Angus series is merely to show the approach to various bordellos. Thanks. I would have loved to at least taken you to the door or even the front desk but figured I would need Artemis' permission for that. I have actually been trying to contact them for an interview but keep getting the blow off. That is I have spoken on the phone to a very nice woman in the office. She says yes but that I need to write an intro email which I have done twice now. When I send the email I get nothing back, not even a polite refusal.

I also consider going directly to the boss but so far that has proven futile. I visited Artemis last month with my friend. At the entrance the standard procedure. Entrance fee is 80 Euro which is on the high side. But it's a nice club and typical a lot of nice girls there.

After drink and some flirt with girls went to sauna. Some girls approaching and try to convince us to go to room first because after sauna to tired. They even offered 4-some.

But still proceed to Sauna and pool first. Indeed fall asleep in the relax chair. When waking up a girl giving me blow job! Nice feeling, but don't feel comfortable in public. I asked the girl what if I say no. She answered: never mind, she also enjoyed!

The first in my new series involving video and youtube. In the first of the series I take you along as I walk from SBahn Westkreuz through gypsy territory to the parking lot of Artemis with a view of the entrance. I had a blast shooting the video and spent a good two hours doing it, walking back and forth 8-10 times to get the right take. I did finally have a take I loved but righ at the end some guy came walking out of Artemis parking across the video, his face plainly in sight.

Poor guy, Busted!

But I realized that I would either have to figure out face blurring on video (not another complicated process) or reshoot for earlier release. I chose the later.

Arrived with my 3 friends at 11 am, there were maybe 20. 30 girls, maybe same amount of polar bears. Line up was good (as allways according to my 4 times experience).

I don't like people stealing from me, it could be my wallet, from my car, house ect... of cause most things will be covered by the insurance, but the most annoying thing is, you have to waste a lot of time sorting out with the police, insurance company, ect.

Do not get me wrong. I do not like it either and it is a pain. But I have to respect someone who is total with it despite my non liking.

I agree with you that the big companies, banks... steal even more from people just in a more sofisticated matters !

And I do see that banks just do what banks do. When they tell me it is for my own good and that I should be grateful, my blood boils. But bankers are people too.

As for the gypsies-well yes as I say we do have people you would call gypsies here in Berlin and as I mention it does pay to have your wits about you in crowded areas such as the Kudamm and on the UBahn. Gypsies are a sort of professional thieving class of people and as such are very good at what they do-pick pocket small crime. Personally I have no quarrel with someone making and honest living as a thief. That is, if that is what they are, and the do it well (I admire excellence in any field of endeavor) then more power to them. Just because it might inconvenience me from time to time is no reason for them to change. Having such folks around keeps me a bit more awake when needed. (I always think that the big banks are far bigger thieves and they do it under the guise of 'business'. A couple of months back Sparkasse suddenly started emptying my already depleted account with a series od service charges basically because I did not have enough money in my account. That is a pickpocket in my books. But don't get me started on banks...)

My point is that these are not really dangerous people but if you want to keep your wallet, keep it in an inside pocket zipped. If anyone stops ypu on the street be alert. As you say they are pretty good at fooling those that need to be fooled. Just do not be one of these.
