I have seen this "24 hour rule" floated around the various forums, but I never saw a link posted to news article or RKI website. Admittedly, I just scanned very quickly. Is the 24 hour guideline only applicable for transit through Germany? In other words, a guest worker driving from Belgium back to his home in Romania, which allows him to stay overnight at a hotel en route?

Apparently clubs like Acapulco Gold require you to fill out a questionnaire, along with providing address and contact info, and then signing your name at the bottom. One of the questions is "have you been in a risk area in the last 14 days"? So it is not only about physical residence or citizenship. A German who came back from France would be flagged. As would a Romanian WG who just returned to Germany for work for that matter. It all depends on whether a raid is conducted (low), and the level of effort the authorities would take to verify this. And I believe, worst case scenario is a 250 EUR fine?

It may be a moot point anyways. Last I read, at least five German cities are over the 50 cases per 100 K threshold. A few days ago, Merkel announced the next ten days would inform them on what actions to take. I don't think the economy or populace would accept a second lockdown, but I can imagine some more restrictions being introduced, similar to the one in Berlin with restaurants and drinking establishments being closed from 23:00 to 06:00.

I think it's a business decision. If you re-start a club like the GT again then it cost a lot of money and you need to get back all the regular employees as well. And the risk that there is another shut down in the next time is there. From a owner perspective it makes more sense to focus on one club not on two.

I'm pretty sure not about business decision when they moved staff to LR instead of LR staff, so GT staff could work at GT if they were allowed to open. They would have opened if they could, when business at GT is much higher than at small LR with less than half rooms.

It is indeed still indeed to travel to / in NRW for less then 24 hours, but LR still denies entry for all people from Risk Areas (like Belgium, NL, etc), on clear demand of the local health authorities.

I made a try in NRW at Gold and Samya on this Saturday, coming from my German beauty at Globe. There must be a real reason if they couldn't open GT, but only small LR, moving staff there. Without NL who don t seem happy when they felt at home and Belgium, Germans are not able to give enough business to their many brothels. LR seem to be asked about health safety control, when not so welcome by Kaarst administration. Possible to visit NRW for less than 24 hours.

While I would certainly love to come to GT, once re-opened, with Limburg area now being red-flagged as risk zone as well, I doubt GT to re-open anytime soon. Unless they run out of space with LR. But last time I checked LR seems to not too crowded.

Again, as usual, I'd love to be wrong. But in the abscence of the international clients, I doubt the german clients will be able to feed GT and a critical number of ladies.

But you have a point, whether the police really cares is not clear. The german authorities are sometimes really stupid and putting out laws and regulations that no-one can monitor.

If you know a bit about GT and LR, GT became NL land and NL party at LR. Swiss are richer than Germans, but they are not enough to give enough business to Swiss clubs, even rich Zurich is not enough for Globe business, so Germans are not able to give enough business to their brothels.
