Personally, GT is no longer a favorite for me and nothing to do with their door policy which I had not paid any particular attention to. I think the quality has been stagnant or declined, the excessive crowded nature and older look of the girls. I think it was a good club in the first half of the last decade but my visits in the last 5 years have clearly declined there.

Seen visitors of all possible colours and nationalities in the club regularly as well so claiming that it's racist globally is incorrect). They simply don't allow in everybody, some may say that's racist, other might say that's good management based on the behaviour (or the complete lack of it) of some people, regardless of colour / ethnics but it's crystal clear if you club in different kind of places how the behaviour depends on the dominating groups in the different clubs.

The irony of the remark from the so called refused gentleman by a so called Turkish security guy at GT. They don't have a Turkish security guard anyway so our Bradford Boy must have been seeing ghosts but oh well. Irony has many colours and YinYang to GT is about 20 Kilometers, not 770 so don't be too upset for the extra stint of 20 K. Oh the dramatics.
Just as a data point, not excusing this behavior, but I've heard WGs say they avoid South Asians for several reasons.

    - Body odor and lack of hygiene.

    - Sexual inexperience.

    - Bargaining, wanting everything for the cheapest price.

I can see this from personal experience, if not from stereotypes: The first, from the cuisine. The second, from the sexually repressive culture. The last from the bargaining / marketplace culture.

I've met South Asians in clubs but they give off vibes that run counter to all these -- they're very white, "coconuts" as the slang goes.

We all have to deal with stereotypes, some work in our favor and some work against us, and it's better to neutralize them and get your way than complain about them and not get your way.

WGs have also told me they will discriminate against Black clients not because of size, but because they will more often have pimping aspirations and try to get a girl into their stable. Black clients who don't give off a thug vibe will probably have an easier time with WGs.

I think East Asian stereotypes are generally positive, which helps with access to clubs: Cleanliness, sexual culture, and overtipping. Maybe lack of size as well.

But in the club that can mean WGs may overrun you thinking that you're an easy mark.

This information is interesting to me because it illuminates what women want -- and what a woman wants as a WG isn't always the same as what a woman wants as a civilians. Civilians definitely don't want guys who are pushovers, but WGs like that. WGs value cleanliness, and civilians do too, but a civilian may be more forgiving about cleanliness if the guy is attractive and wealthy. She has more time to change him and get value out of him.

Both WGs and civilian women are engaging in a transaction of time versus access to resources but the difference is in the nature of the transaction. Civilian transactions are a lot longer term than WG transactions, and result in a much greater exchange of value.

Didn't meant my comment in any way harsh. Plus: I am the biggest opposer of anything racist. I had a post here before that I think, the door policy of GT is NOT OK. It should be down to the lady to accept or reject business. And indeed I have seen darker skin folks at GT. This may even depend on the time of day or the day itself.

I know for a fact, that some individual providers from nearby Duisburg RLD (just 30 min further to the east) told me that they love darker skin for various reasons.

BTW: once GT reopens once the numbers go significantly down (this is my guess), they probably be less picky.

May be I was not paying attention? I think the commenters coming down on him in a severe way would not be happy themselves if they were denied admission at some other club. But I would agree with their general advice though. Next time you visit a club you should check out the rules / admission policies / prices etc. It is just common sense. You said you drove several hundred miles BB, and that is a large investment of time and effort and money. Before I spent that much, I definitely make sure there is a plan be -- "where else can I go if that specific club is shut down for some reason, do I have other alternatives, etc". For example, it is equally possible that the club was shut down for a renovation or due to a police raid the night before, etc. What would you do? If you had scoped out what else is there to do, you can quickly visit another club within vicinity (you even had a car you said).

I don't support discriminatory door policies but the good news is that there are tons of clubs. You will find something that suits your taste. And think of it as you are not giving them your business. But do your due diligence.

The irony really is that you didn't care to read all the stuff here on that issue. Could have saved you the trip. But you would have still had a great time in Duisburg RLD and even LR has a less strict door policy.

Got to the door and told sorry you can't come in (I'm British Pakistani hint hint).

Travelled 770 km to be told that by a Turkish security guard. The irony.

Exactly! That "I travelled 770 km" story sound more like someone wants a few politically correct browny points here, or someone with a grudge and wants to add fuel to the "GT is racist" hype. If he'd researched a little bit more on this forum, he could have bought a ticket to Frankfurt and have a good time at the clubs there, but for some unknown reason BradfordBoy decided to travel 770 km so he could post something negative about GT on this forum.

P.S. I've seen plenty of white trash being told a firm "no!" by the GT doorman, and I've also seen plenty of Asians inside, so I seriously doubt that they have "racist" or "whites only" motives. After all, money talks and bullshit walks. Their motives are probably more from practical experience, and they know who the troublemakers are.

Not many dark skin are welcome, East Asians are welcome. Mostly Polish staff, not Turkish. LR used to be more flexible.

As I was told: not the end of the world. Not the prettiest girls there because of rules and regulars crying on desk when they don't get everything, when GT put many mirrors to look at oneself. Not many good rooms, only best club to watch ski Worldcup, but Viky Rebensburg. De retired. Much better gardens elsewhere. Sunday brunch was good, before formula 1, NL came to watch with me.

Britain has changed their native to Indian, Pakistan, Arabic and Russian people LOL!

So in away, it is other way round, white people are no longer native of Britain, but minority residents of UK, soon or later, this is LOL!

I have seen Indian or Pakistan customer in GT before, but I also read many times on forum that some guests from certain nation were turned back at the door, how they chooses is big mystery to me!
