What I sincerely like about GT is that upselling is still rare. On Thursday there were some ladies from Hamburg's Harmony, who were asking 80430. Annoying.

It means that the Line-up is not that good. It's good for January (or better first weeks after Christmas / New Year) but it is nothing like it was in E. G. September. I wouldn't have gone to GT without so much positive notes about the line-up. Now, I regret my trip a bit. I do not question your integrity but if you had put that it was good for January that would have made things clearer to me. If you think it is just as good as in September I would be a bit puzzled.

I wonder what day you are talking about. If that is last Friday (Yesterday) your count is different from mine. At 12:00 there were only a few ladies and a few were very decent looking. At 14:00 there was no lady that I really liked. At 17:45 there were about 20 men in the bar and two ugly ladies. But all in all yesterday was not a bad day for January. At 19:45 there were at least three ladies that I would take to a room in a heartbeat (and several others). But. This was an awesome LU for my taste. And the ratio of ladies to monger was most of afternoon 5-to-3 - which frustrated the ladies. But not me. Grin.
In the eve the ratio gone to 3-to-6 - which was still outstanding. Waiting times were sometimes 20 min. Mostly 5-10 min.

I can only go on a weekday, and would be at the club from about 2 pm-6 pm. Do you think Friday is the obvious choice?

With this time span it is not a good idea to go on Friday, I think. The reason for this is that the time from 5 pm to 8 pm on a Friday is very busy. The day punters then have their last session and the evening punters have their first session. If you want to leave at 6 pm and have a session just before that time, it might prove difficult to select a decent girl. Wednesday or Thursday are better choices, as it will be less crowded.

Depends if you want to have best choice, then yes, Friday is a great. Friday afternoon will have a full LU and it will be crowded. But maybe not too crowded.

An alternative is Wednesday which is less crowded. LU will be a bit weaker. Yet net net the waiting times might be better. This may be important if you want to do many rooms.

Consider Thursday a mixture of both above days.
