Wow, what a line-up, what a club! I was there from 1 pm to closing time 12 hours later, and I do understand why GT is so popular among so many of you honourable gents.

The club has been well described by experts, but a few observations from a newbie perspective:

I had thought Artemis the benchmark of FKK cleanliness, but GT is indeed in another league with hordes of servicemen (and a few.women) constantly sweeping the floors, polishing the glass doors, emptying the ashtrays, disposing of empty bottles and glasses and rearranging the stacks of towels, all done discretely and professionally. So thorough was the attention given to keeping the premises neat that I would not have been overly surprised to find someone dusting my balls mid-session.

Lockers, electronic key system, showers, bathrobes, towels and personal hygiene products are all satisfactory (although I wonder why Bernd's, not otherwise frequented for its facilities, is the only among the FKK's I have visited where mouth-wash is a stable). The lemon-scented sauna is nice, while the less-than-lukewarm water in the outdoor Jacuzzi was a disappointment.

The large garden is a treat, and with sun shining and temperatures around 16C this was apparently the first day of 2010 when it was a pleasure being outdoors for any longer time. A few gents had naps on outside deck chairs. The rooms, both inside and the cabins in garden, are ok, although not up to Finca standards, and the temperature in the cabins were one or two degrees below my ideal.

I found the eating facilities in a large, heated garden tent satisfactory, and the food (pork stew with rice or potatoes) was ok. I missed the pizza supé later on due to adventures described further down. The bartenders were extremely nice and attentive, and I was happy to discover that among the free drink choices were Warsteiner, one of my favourite German beers.

The female-to-male-ratio was very favourable during the daytime. Later it was not as favourable, but still there was no lack of available talent at any time (but at times lack of available rooms for this talent to be expressed). There was very little public action going on (including what I saw during a few brief visits to the kino), and I was surprised to see that – especially during daytime – the gents and ladies stayed rather separate from each others between sessions, with little display of the temporary girlfriend/boyfriend relations I have observed elsewhere.

But the ladies Whooah. My FKK experience is very limited (Artemis twice in.09 and once in February.10, Oase, Finca and Bernd's in February.10), but so far GT is for me a clear winner in the looks department. I would guess 60-80 ladies were present at all time, most of them young or youngish and very attractive and at least 10 real stunners. I saw very few obvious sharks, perhaps due to the female non-approach policy (which is, however, not rigorously followed).

I had the pleasant company of Toscana as well as Renegate73, one of the founders of the German Roemerforum.
