Flying into Weeze is my mainstay mode of arrival when I do a tour of the NRW region. There are many others from your part of Europe that also fly into and out to Weeze because it is so handy to Golden Time. Indeed, Weeze is also very close to Villa Vertigo and also Planet Happy Garden.

If you check of my trip reports I discuss the flight bookings, the logistics, timings, car hire and so forth. Using public transport from Weeze to Bruggen for Golden Time is possible but takes a lot of time.

When I drive from Weeze's rental carpark to Golden Time direct the mileage used is 49 Km. Bruggen village is another 2 Km further south of Golden Time. A round trip for 2 days to Golden Time from Weeze and to a hotel nearby and finding a fuel station on return to Weeze clocks in at around 106-108Km in total.

Renting a car can be as little as €23.96 for 2 days car hire with www.sixti.com. You may be aware that this is for a Smart car which has an economy mileage usage. In reference to the round trip mileage the Sixti car hire option for 2 days is 200 Km inclusive limit and then it is 15 cents for every Km over 200 Km. So in terms of car hire you can do a 2 day weekend for €23.96 car hire. Book in advance to get this deal.

Petrol for the round trip is like 8€ to 15€ depending on how far you drive, how you drive and whether the previous driver filled the car to the brim or only to the extent of showing that the fuel gauge looked full on its return.
