I will preface this section by stating that I am a newbie when it comes to public transport in DE as I an auslander to the continent so actually having borders with other countries is new to me. It still freaks me out that from Bruggen if I walk 2-3 Km one way I am in NL, from Bruggen I am currently in DE, but if I go some way South I end up in Belgium and then France and there is also a Duchy called Luxembourg not far off either. If I flew into Frankfurt Regional airport what I would do is take the Bohr Omnibusse to FFM or to Koeln.

If going to FFM to visit the Frankfurt FKKs you would so this. The 1.75 hour trip is €12 and learn to take a pitstop before you get on the bus at Frankfurt Regional airport as there is no toliet facility on the bus and it is non stopping. I have seen little kids burst themselves as the bus driver will not stop. The bus to Frankfurt Regional airport and from FFM runs nearly 24 hours a day. The FFM bus also stops at the FRA airport as well on the way to the FFM Hbf. Check the timetable.

There is also the option of taking the bus from Frankfurt Regional airport to Cologne which can be used as a way station to the NRW clubs. A one way trip is 15€ and takes 2 hours 15 minutes on the bus.

Place of departure Cologne Main-Train-Station:

Total time one way: 2 h. 15 min.

From Cologne Hbf you buy another ticket for the public transport network and you can take a train to Kaldenkirchen which you can see the timetable on www.bahn.de. From Kaldenkirchen you can take the bus to the bus stop that drops you off maybe 50 metres from Golden Time. If you book your ticket as straight through to Bruggen then the bus journey is included in your ticket in the one price since the travel price is based on zones not mode of transport.

For those moving onto use the airport at Weeze (NRN) then it is also good to know that there is the bus that does the Düsseldorf/Köln - Weeze and back run. Total time one way is 1h 15min.

I use Weeze a fair bit as it is a cheaper airport than DUS but I always hire a car from Weeze and drive to Golden Time. 2 day car hire is anywhere from 23.85€ to 31.17€ plus petrol for the 2 days so when you compare to buses to Dusseldorf and then taking the train back out again from Dusseldorf to Kaldenkirchen to connect with a bus to Bruggen it is actually more convenient and cost efficient to hire a basic car. The point is that Weeze to Golden Time is 49 Km. If you took your bicycle you could cycle to Golden Time from Weeze. That would be quite a nice ride in Summer as the path is country roads and there are cycle paths just about the entire way.

Your travel period is also one which I have my eye on that the clubs will have stellar line ups. It will be colder then but not freezing. The GT back garden will be in less use. The tent will be up for the food servings so there will be that respite if the smoke in the main bar gets too much, but I guess smoke is not your problem. Still early days yet as to what the travel plans are. We will see.

I salute your stamina of spending 7 days in Golden Time. The maximum that I have spent at Golden Time in a 7 day period is 5 days at Golden Time several times.

I see you fly into Frankfurt's Regional airport. That port of entry is 2.5 hours drive from Golden Time and by bus to FFM hbf it is 1.75 hours or 1.5 hours by self drive car to Oase.

There are a few options in Bruggen for accommodation. Just search this thread and a number of options will come up. Bruggen is about 2-3 Km from GT depending on how far away your accommodation is in Bruggen. I have not stayed in any accommodation in Bruggen that has a toliet / shower in room and wifi. I suppose my handicap is that wifi is not a requirement when travelling since I am usually off the grid. Cellular phone or line of sight works for me.

I think there is a hotel with wifi in Kaldenkirchen up the B221 road to the North. My experiences and also with many others that I know personally is it is very difficult to book a room there as its always seems to be full. The Klimp in Bruggen may have wifi.

I can go there morning and them move to Netherlands book a duth hotel and spent a quite evening at any coffe shoop and maybe have a massage if have the feeling. (problably will fall sleep but who cares)

Only thing worry me is moving with my luggage from colonia or dusseldorf to termingirls as I not seen easy public transport from colonia or dusseldorf to get there but I am very interesed in going there as I am think even in pay the extra for the movie you know is one time in my life.

It is a 1, 5 km from FKK LR and I will make my base there it have wifi, tv sat, etc.

From there I will be moving to GT, LV, YY, etc

I still looking for a Hotel near YY for a night at least.
