FKK Samya - Cologne

I took the ICE to Cologne from Frankfurt HBF. Frankfurt city being my base for this and last year trip to Deutschland. Reach around 12 pm. Its only here I have experienced that high speed rail can be such a delight. Only if they could allow smoking in one of the bogies as they do in Japan (select route / bogies), journey would be such more fun. I find it extremely difficult to sit still or sleep during travel and hence flight or long flights is something which just gets me.

Do the usual tourist thing. Walk up to the Dom. Simply amazed to see the giant structure. My neck almost stretches looking up. Had passed by it last year through window of an ICE while returning from Amsterdam to Frankfurt. And this evening ICE is the fastest to Frankfurt in the entire day I think. Leaves around 9. 30 pm from cologne and takes approx. 1. 30 hrs to get to Frankfurt. I had reached from Amsterdam in approx. 4 hrs. Last year.

I see the Dom. Take pictures. Walk up to the love bridge. I hope they remove some of the locks soon or else the bridge is going to suffer the same problem as the original one in Paris is. Have seen such bridges coming up across western Europe in my trips now and I think I saw one in Oslo or Stockholm. Don't quite remember now. Pick up some souvenirs and small bottle of cologne from shop no 4711.Have to try the Kolsch. Walk up to Fruh am Dom being the closest and famous. The first glass is empty soon. Wonder why those small thin glasses after having being exposed to the litre glasses at Hofbrauhaus and Paulaners in my earlier Munich visit. Guess the beer's move flavorful and needs to be enjoyed sipping slowly. Won't get into that.

Having done sightseeing. Check my clock. Its 3 pm. Time to hit Samya. Or Mondial. Am in two minds not having been to any club in this area take a bet on Samya basis of the visits members have posted in this thread. So walk to the you train station ticket counter and buy a return ticket to Michaelshoven. Fairly easy to get into the you Bahn. Can see my stop on the map pasted above the door. Was a very slow ride. Stopped at most of the signals apart from stops. Eventually get down have google maps handy. Start the walk. Quite hot and sweaty by the time I reach. Didn't look so far in the map.

Stand in front of the counter. Girl tells me the entry charges. Pay and then she asks me whether I have been here before. I say no and will figure out. Guess we get this confidence after visiting a few clubs that we know all. But a typical rookie mistake which I would realize later.. Don't know what happened she just gets irritated and starts speaking in Deutsch I think. I just apologise to her and request her to describe the layout to me. Mentally switched off.

I personally didn't find either of those clubs to have such a great line-up right now. Out of the two I'd say Samya has the edge. Magnum is empty on weekdays. Small number of girls at DV and line-up isn't so great there either. I'd recommend GT or ACA. I don't find the current ACA line-up to be different enought for me to be that great. ACA always had new girls around this time of the year, but I don't find any nice new girls there this fall. For a new monger, ACA is still nice just like GT which always has a strong number and optics. NRW is not so great right now.

I was there last week and Nieky didn't show up til around 10 pm. Quite a few girls only showed up after 8 pm, so that might be the reason for differening numbers. Have to agree that the Samya lineup is subpar now. Number of girls is fairly low as well. Mondial has twice as many girls on a weeknight than Samya on a weekend night.

The only good thing about Samya is my super hot Romanian bartender (black hair) from Mondial is now at Samya. The short one with the curly hair is pretty too.
