One confounding variable in these studies is the surprisingly common african practice of "dry sex". This is vaginal sex after a woman douches with preparations to reduce natural lubrication - literally to dry it out. The practice produces increased chance of breaks/ bleeding leading to transmission. Uncircumcised men are almost exclusively the group involved because circumcision makes the practice unpleasant/painful for the man. HIV transmission rates may be higher for uncircumcised men in the study area simply because circumcised men avoid the practice since they find it unpleasant.

Circumcision alters sexual behavior by changing the mechanics of what is more pleasurable. Altered sexual behavior alters STD transmission rates. Another example of this is the BJ. Circumcised men generally have a stronger preference for BJ's. Some STD's have lower transmission rates for oral over vaginal sex. Over millions of instances this kind of thing produces real statistical differences.

The point is that a correlation between circumcision and STD transmission rates in the real world doesn't necessarily mean that it provides any direct "protection" against infection. Even a very real effect can be produced by a very indirect route.

There are some reputable studies that show that circumcisions decrease the liklihood of people getting AIDS. But also there are some reputable studies that show that circumcisions increase the liklihood of males getting AIDS and there are many reputable studies that show that circumcisions neither increase or decrease the liklihood of males getting AIDS. So with those studies that show that circumcisions decrease the liklihood of males getting AIDS I don't those studies have any credibility because of all the studies that show otherwise.

In Germany the vast majority of males are not circumcised, but the AIDS rate in Germany is many times lower than the AIDS rate in the U.S. where the vast majority of males are circumcised. So with the claim that circumcisions decrease the number of people who get AIDS that claim does not stand up to the way that things actually are.

It is controversial if male circumcisions help protect against AIDS or not. Also it is highly controversial if male circumcisions decrease the sexual pleasure capacity of males or not. At least in my opinion though if a male gets circumcised that will not give him any protection against AIDS and that might decrease his sexual pleasure capacity.

AsI highly recommend to never go bareback in sex unless you know the person's HIV status.

How would you do this? A nevative Test today only tells you that he/she was negative 6 or 12 weeks ago. She could have caught the virus 2 weeks ago!

Don't be to hysterical about deseases at FKKs. If you worry too much, just don't go there! You might get a flu because sometimes it is a little cold in those places ... ;-)

as an informed member of healthcare matters (without giving my identity), i thought i'd give the following health tips with regard to mongering. i've seen here and there where people ask about various stds and the like.

i'm not sure which forum to post this, so i thought i'd place it in the fkk faq.

with condom use, anal or vaginal sex gives you the small risk of hsv-2 (genital herpes) and the large risk of hpv (certain strains cause warts). both hsv and hpv can be transmitted skin to skin, however hpv is as contagious as a common cold, even with condom use. herpes seems to typically occur with people who do not use condoms, however theoretically it can still be transmitted via skin to skin contact. the good news is that even if you acquire hsv or hpv, it's not a big deal. it's more of an emotional issue.

a way to decrease the risk of acquiring hsv-1 (oral herpes, i. e. cold sores) or hsv-2 (genital herpes): while there are no studies to support this, taking valtrex 500 mg daily (typical dose for herpes suppression for those with known herpes recurrent infections) while mongering and thereafter can only help in possibly preventing infection or at the very least, greatly decrease the possibility of noticeable symptoms. how many days thereafter?. hard to say (again, no studies to support). my guess is between 5-14 days. i say 14 days because that's the typical period of time between exposure and development of symptoms. downside is valtrex costs $200+ for 30 pills if you don't have an insurance plan.

a way to decrease susceptibility to hpv (some strains cause warts, others can cause cervical cancer in women): gardasil vaccine. 3 shots taken at 0, 2, and 6 months. if you're a veteran monger, then this vaccine is useless since you've already been exposed to every known hpv virus known to man. it only works if you've never been exposed. so this vaccine is ideal for the teenage son of a mongering father who is being introduced to our hobby. lol. again there are no published studies to support use of the vaccine for males, but i predict that in the future, it may be recommended for males. it's currently recommended for women aged 12-26. sadly our provider counterparts are likely not getting this vaccine before they start their profession. downside to gardasil is the roughly $200 per injection cost.

if you find yourself with a wart, see a doctor. if you know what you're doing, warts are simple to treat. simply apply a dr. scholl's wart freezer kit applicator to a small wart, and it will likely disappear in a day (if applied when it first pops up when it is very small). whether you apply acid, freeze, burn, cut a wart, apply medication, they all do the same thing. they stimulate the immune system to clear the wart. the good news is that with hpv (see cdc. gov), 90% of infections clear within 2 yrs.

bbbj: likely safe, however if the provider has a major sore throat, then you should avoid. it is possible to have a gonorrhea throat infection, and so that can certainly be passed through a bbbj. however i'm not going to lose sleep over a bbbj.

vaccines you should have: hepatitis b. hep c is the nastiest, but it's not sexually transmitted. however hep b is very popular, especially throughout the developing world. hep b is sexually transmitted. it can infect people for years if not decades before someone finally has severe liver damage. simply go to a doc, make sure your liver function test is normal, and have a hepatitis panel (a, b, c) completed. if you've never had hep b vaccine, get that vaccine (3 shots). all children in the us these days are vaccinated, however this was not the case during the 1970s and much of the 1980s. all healthcare workers are vaccinated as well (in case of needlestick).

tests you should routinely get, at least once per yr:

rpr (antibody test for syphilis. easy disease to treat, but devastating if left alone for years)

ppd for tuberculosis. tuberculosis is increasing throughout the world, especially the developing world. if you are positive with a ppd, then likely you will need to take a 6 month course of isoniazid (no drinking during this time. fun, fun).

hiv. definitely a must if you ever have sex without a condom in a non-monogamous relationship. realize that it takes about 6 weeks from time of exposure to when the antibody test will be positive.

giardia (gives diarrhea) is not really an std (i only mention since it was discussed before). yes it can be transmitted via fecal matter through sex, however it's no more of an std than is the common cold or flu.

i highly recommend to never go bareback in sex unless you know the person's hiv status. otherwise you are rolling the dice with your life. realize that aids is the greatest silent epidemic known to man. it has surpassed bubonic plague in terms of total deaths.

and of course, using condoms prevent chlamydia and gonorrhea, both of which can make you have burning [CodeWord134]. if not treated quickly with antibiotics, further complications and damage can occur (such as painful epididymitis).

Forget Munich and go for the City of Augsburg, 30 min. by car.

Nearly for 3 years, at least once a week, I visit the FKK Club Colosseum in the the City of Augsburg.

The Club is very well managed and the Ladies are charming.

I read in the fkk faq : As a rule, multi cums are not allowed within half hour session.

That's it. Come once per 30 Min. So if you book 60 minutes, you can come twice. But talk to the girl first, maybe you can come twice in 30 minutes. I wouldn't think so and never tried.

The clubs in Switzerland do allow you to come more than once in 30 minutes. The girls do not really like this rule.
