39 is owned by the same people as Artemis, who are Turks, I guess the owners want to market it to Germans only, and generally whites only. I think the only other major club in the NRW that discriminates is Bernd's and the once existing St. Augustine club. Red carpet clubs are usually Germans only.

I've never seen anyone being turned away at Bernds or at the Sankt Augustine-Meindorf club either but now that you mention it the clientele from Anatolia is rather sparse in attendance. Maybe they just know not to go.

The only Red Carpet club I am aware of that had a no admission policy for non-Germans is the Alperbeck club. It probably still has this policy in force would be my guess. As I've mentioned before, it has a German flag flying in front of it and on their webpage. That German flag is not a random thing but is meant to send a signal to non-Germans.

They will tell you at the front door that it is for members only and then send you on your way.

There also was an FKK club in Muenster which very specifically said on its webpage that it was an all German club. I've tried to relocate this webpage but not had luck finding it. This was years ago.

Turks seem to be most widely discriminated against so if you look even remotely Turkish or Middle Easternish, your options are most limited. There are probably some South Asians who may pass for Turkish.

If you fall into this category, there are clubs targeted at a Turkish clientele where you will be more than welcome: Penelope in Essen and Ali Baba in Wuppertal, z. B. The tape on their club information line gives the directions to the club in Turkish.

As for East Asians, the Duesseldorf area is home to a large number of Japanese and Chinese so so long as you aren't too way off the beaten path, you should find no problem at all being accepted at a club.

Also, if you speak fluent German, you should be able to talk your way into just about any club no matter where you are from. Just make sure your grammar and vocabulary is in Ordnung. It is your passport to just about any club in Germany.

Travelerb69 was told that story by a wg. She says that Turks are not allowed to come in as a guest, but there is a long story behind.
