    Davao on a budget

    Guys,

I wanted to just explain how you can visit Davao City on $ 1000 for a month. Now this is $ 33.34/day, very little. You have to limit hotel cost to $ 15 per day. Plenty of pathetic dumps where you can accomplish this. If I list them here, I will only incur wrath from some guys who trashed me in the past and stayed in these hovels. To do it in a decent place is going to take a little work.

Staying a month helps as many places offer large discounts for month stays. Try standard rooms at Casa Leticia on J Camus St. I have not stayed here for a few years. Next is the Tower Inn behind Gaisano South Mall. In 2005 I spent one night in what was supposeed to be the nicest room. It was bad!!! But it is clean, centrally located and has lots of foreigners.

The best choice would be Red Knight Garden. This is near the Airport and not easy to find. Contact them in advance. For a month stay you should get an efficiency room for 800 pesos or less ($ 17 or less). GoodEnough negotiated $ 10/nt for "Sir Brad" back in 2007 for a 3 month stay. Not sure about now. But the economy really sucks and this has to work in your favor. It is full of retirees and guys working in oil fields who live there when not working. Not my kind of people but what the hell! It is a 25 minute, 60 peso cab ride into downtown Davao City. The restaurant is openair and reasonable with adequate food (far from gourmet but okay).

You can eat breakfast at RKG for about $2 or fix it in your room. I hung out here during the day watching people and drinking coffee or beer. In the afternoon you can head into town and visit the malls. Head for the food court to checkout the young women hanging around. Talk to them and have a coke with them and you should do fine. Then, head over to Peoples Park on J camus to catch the early evening crowd. This costs nothing and a lot of women go here. Several of the Davao ladies I have met/fucked told me they would often sit here and relax watching people.

For dinner and late night dining you need to go to one of the dozen or so Filipino barbecue restaurants at intersection of J Camus St & Illustre St. The convenience store here with outside tables got named Ground Zero in Feb 2004 as it was then a great place for meeting women in the evening. It is okay not but primarily between 5-8PM. There are just too many places that have opened up since then.

IF you visit Habana Compound on Rizal St your budget is fucked! For get Claude's Cafe de Ville Restaurant. Chico's nightclub will cost you P50 for a beer and you can nurse 1-2 at the bar while watching live music after 8PM. If you go to Henny's you can order the Fettucine dinner for P150 ($ 3.20) with fresh bread. A soft drink or beer is about P50. You are better off at Someplace Else which fills up with young people after 9PM Thurs, Fri & Sat nights.

Rizal Promenade gets going Wed -Sat nights after 10:30PM. It is NOT an early evening place. Again you can hangout, drink a beer or two at an openair bar and chat with women for P100 ($ 2.10). I have met a lot of women here and always after midnight.

The karaoke place across the street will open early evening and on weekends gets a crowd at the tables. The private singing rooms are basic (couch, chair, mike). I think it was P150/hr ($ 3.20). Remember, your total daily allowance is $ 33.35. You have to watch your money. Meals will cost you a good $ 8-10 minimum and with $ 15-18/nt hotel, you have have only $ 5-10 left. Taxis to/from RKG will bee P120 ($ 2.50).

It is definitely a tight budget. Pros around J Camus/Illustre St or Rizal St can be had for P500-600 ($ 10.50 to $ 12.75). Even this is a bit much for your budget. Dining at Habana Compound on Rizal St is out. Across the street from Chico's, opposite side of Rizal St is a filipino carandeiria. This is always busy on Thurs, Fri & Sat nights. It will be very cheap and you will be the only non filipino there.

You can make it work on $1000 for a month but it will take a little thinking. I would suggest trying to go on $ 1500 minimum for a month. Leaves a lot more money for enjoying yourself.

    Photos and More

    PauloThai,

Top to bottom in the photos: First is Cherryl, 21, whom I was seeing for some time in Davao. Second is Joanne, 25, Manila. I nicknamed her Stacey Dash as her appearance reminded me a lot of the gorgeous actress in the video, "Illegal in Blue". The third is Marjorie, 23, Davao. I saw her again this last Trip when her cousin who had borrowed her phone returned with it. Cousin did not think to text another relative or even inform me. I thought Marjorie did not want to be bothered. Fourth is Jobeth, 21, Davao. I just spoke with her last night and she must have been excided hearing from me. Tried six times to go so I could sleep but she wanted to keep on talking to me.

After her is Shella, 19, Davao. Next is Marjorie again. The last is also Marjorie. I thought it was Rotchell. Here is a photo of Rotchell, 24, Davao in my room at the Marco Polo. I am sucking her other lovely tit. I added two more photos of Rotchell. In the one you can see my pal, "T Rex" drilling her.

An interesting story concerning this lady. A guy in his early 30's showed up in Davao City and was not very happy. GoodEnough (who else?) hears from him and calls me (naturally). I get the guy phone numbers for a couple ladies in Davao City, including Rotchell. I call Rotchell and ask her to introduce some of her girlfriends to him.

Naturally, Rotchell blows the guy, lets him cum in her mouth, and fucks him the following morning. Left then for work without so much as taxifare (what an asshole!). She tells the guy that she is "deeply in love" with me and to please not tell me what happened. Of course I knew and he posted, omitting kicking her out without taking her to breakfast or even cab fare home.

But is is interesting how filipinas behave. Fucking a complete stranger for the pure enjoyment of it but NOT wanting me to know about it. I heard from her over the internet recently.

    Photos from Davao

    Guys,

Here are photos taken in Davao. The first is of Cherryl (sha-real), my former love here. Taken during one of her ma T Rex "riding" sessions. I have some great videos of her, taken while she was fully aware of this and did not mind (horny 21 y/o). Have to get a Video Board someday

This if for the guy who commented on no photos here.

I added a few more. Third photo is a lovely 23 y/o in Davao City. Next is a lady, now 22, that I first met/fucked when she was 19 (15 minutes after arriving at hotel, mentioning she had a boyfriend with whom she was "deeply in love", she was helping me stick my dick inside her). She is not nude in this photo but I do not think you will mind. Have dozens of her nude if you scroll back.

Next is a 19 y/o I met in Davao City lasy year. Next two are Marjorie, 23 and Rotchell, 24, both of Davao City. I still call and chat with both.

    whatever

    Wicked Roger,

I did not mention you in my last post to deliberately avoid your being upset. But NOW you have a little idea as to how I FEEL when these horrifically crude, rude and offensive comments are made to me here IN MY OWN FORUM. Still, I DO NOT wish to offend you.

I did NOT mention the other guy. When GoodEnough was in Thailand he sent me posts mentioning how much he enjoyed it. I never knew whom he met or even where he stayed. He told me on three separate occasions that he cancelled his reservation in Bangkok at the one place. I did not believe him and, of course, I was correct.

When he returned to Davao, I was in Hong Kong and then back home in the US. He (GE) was complaining about everything. This prompted me to put a Post stating that he would have had more fun in Bangkok if I had accompanied him. I was only making a joke about his previous post complaining about literally everything in the Philippines. In no fucking way should this have triggered the fucking comment about me "insulting my Family".

Yes, I am extremely disappointed with the Kid, as IS my Brother. A year before his death my Father expressed similar dismay in a telephone conversation to me. My comments owe no one a FUCKING EXPLANATION. I was joking in that Post as it was possible he and Barba could meet up in Davao as they may be there at the same time. Barba may even like the Kid. He is okay to have a drink (or ten) with and sit talking.

This is still my Forum and I am done with people coming here SOLELY FOR THE PURPOSE OF INSULTING AND HUMILIATING ME. I know that Wicked Roger is NOT one of these individuals and who he has as friends is none of my concern. Same for GooDEnough. I also have to choose my own Friends and whom I do NOT want as friends.

I asked two guys, one a friend, the other had telephoned me and IM'd me on the internet wanting to meet me and become friends, to simply Post here and PM or speak with this person asking him to just leave my Forum. He never goes to the Philippines and primarily criticizes, insults and chastises me on my Forum. I asked these "friends" to intervene and stop this. Both refused.

    DS

I do not want to get into a lengthy debate but would prefer our private chat ect to be that but you can decide, it is a free world .... and there is the facility to ignore posts by Piper (which I have used for UW and a few others in the past)

As to your comment re Piper, I have in fact spoken with him as we are friends and get along well. I have sent you an offline message and email to let you know the essence of that telephone call and everyone will be pleased to hear that (I hope) all this debate can stop and we get back to what many have said already...this is a great forum for information and long may it continue...Patience and all gets done the fact being that I have been extremely busy and travelling meant that my offer to call could not be made until I returned to the UAE

I for one will still FR and read on DS Forum but I will not post personal discussions as I feel that is inappropriate

Thanks for all the information DS, it is valuable and useful to many but please lets focus on what this forum is about...good info and sweet pussy

    A Zen Experience

Driving here takes lots of getting used to and I would not recommend that you start the learning process by driving to CDO. Cebu Pacific just introduce three weekly flights, which take less than an hour, and I think that's the way you should go.

The drivers here make up the rules as they go along with no concern for safety--yours or theirs--and act as if they are the only people on the road. They have no sense, less skill, and no courtesy for others. They drive on pure impulse, with no thought, doing whatever they want whenever they want to. I drive here every day, but I'm used to it.

The drive to CDO is a difficult one, and it really helps to know the road. You can rent cars here and somewhere or other I've got the card of a rental company, but I strongly urge you not to consider it. The round trip ticket to CDO costs less than $40. I just took the flight for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and if possible, I will never take the drive again. The flight leaves Davao about 7:15 in the evening, and you will be in CDO about 8. It leaves CDO about 6 in the evening and you're in Davao before 7.

Another, even less expensive alternative is the bus. The good news is that the buses are reasonably new, fully air conditioned, and in decent shape. The bad news is that it takes almost 8 hours by bus--given the frequent stops--and the drivers are insane.

    It's Very Nice...

The distance from Davao to CDO is about 300 km., but the roads are all two lane, and there's a lot of mountainous terrain, so it takes a long time. The scenery however, is beautiful and varied, and if you've never made the drive, you might enjoy it.

I do not know where you got the impression that CDO is not "all that nice," and of course I do not know your criteria, but I think it's a lovely city. It's clean, attractive and safe and I enjoy the place. There's the usual assortment of bars and clubs if that's what interests you, and there are enough restaurants and coffee shops to make the town somewhat interesting.

As I said in my last post, you can now fly back and forth from Davao three days a week on Cebu Pacific, and the trip is only 45-50 minutes. You can fly every day from Cebu to CDO and from Cebu to Davao, so there's always an alternative to driving.

Cebu just introduced a Davao-CDO flight that I took for the first time from CDO to Davao yesterday and the cost was less than Php900 (about $18). Spending fifty minutes in a small plane sure beat the hell out of the usual 6 hour drive.

    Compared

    Barba,

I don't eat on the one on Torres any longer, which is called Krua Thai. The food is so mediocre that I find it a total waste of money. This one is much better, though whether it will be able to maintain the standard is still open to question. For now however, it serves authentic Thai food.

    Comparision?

    Ge,

How does it compare the one on Torres? I love Thai and had a vast number of thai meals over the globe. Sad to say, I miss a good option in Davao. The place on Torres is lottery. Some days they will be lucky and serve something OK but most days it is below my acceptance level for thai food. Thai dishes made in to Philippino style food is just not interesting at all. How is it possible to get shrimp spring rolls to taste lechon manok with unlimited rice? Or a perfectly fine thai crab curry to taste chicken adobo? It is beyond me.

While on the topic of Asian food. Didn't Tsuru on Legaspi decline? Or is it just me that grew tired of it? The sake makes the visit nowadays. And sometimes 2-3 types of the fish is fresh enough for a good sushi. The rest is just over cooked or unfresh. Moan moan Barba, why don't you stay at home if it is that bad? Well, fist of all I can't and second we don't have those petit beaver burgers up here in alco land.

An injection of good restaurants anywhere in Davao is more than welcome in my opinion. The problem is not to get the females to go with the meal, it is to come up with a restaurant that does not make you consider Prozac just thinking of yet another visit.
