The man who offerred to celebrate my birthday with me over dinner was in Davao City. I did not make this clear. I commented on this to my good friend in Davao who replied,"he is busy! We both are!" Unlike in Davao I had absolutely NO PROBLEMS in Cebun City when I was here a few weeks ago. I stayed at my usual Hotel and was greeted with a nice wave and Hello by the very busy Manager (had a group of Chinese checking in at the time). My key was handed to me by one of the bellboys and I signed nothing! I followed one of the boys to my Room where he got the air going and handed me my key card. Another guy came up with something for me and stated,"Welcome Home"! Later the GM sat with me at a table and I related the horror of my Davao experience with him at the ApoView Hotel, even showing him the text from the 19 year old who came by to see me and got an "earfull" from one of the young *itches working the front desk.

Choosing the right Hotel is important! I would have been longer in Cebu but a guy there suggested we have dinner on my birthday. I had planned to depart two days prior to this as my plans included celebrating in Cebu, NOT at the Waterboy Hotel (Waterfront). In fact the only incident I had was in going to the lobby, my teenage daughter, her mother, my son andn his mother (Ya I know, fucked up!) all with me. Some tall, bald headed old amerrican is at the lobby as we all exit the elevator. He yells to me like he was my long lost brother. I do not know this asshole now would I wish to know him. Today I needed new prescription eyeglasses. So I headed out to Robinson's Mall at Fuente Osmena (circle).
