Did the Elizabeth hotel hire a new GM? Been more than a Year since I last stayed here as the service deteriorated with the resignation of their General Manager, a decent and competent man. I was getting pressure from my Son, Colin's mom for a Hotel with a swimming Pool for the two of them. Most of the ladies I met expressed a desire to go swimming. Just wondering if the Hotel has gotten its ac together.

I am considering trying the Questor Hotel on Archbishop Reyes. Anyone have an opinion on this Hotel? Looks good in the photos with a nice Restaurant, large rooms, decent Bar and an outdoor pool for my Sons. I will spend three nights at the Best Western in a larger room. I hate small rooms as I have a large living room in my home here. The Hotels I tried last Trip were NOT places I would ever stay again, except the Marco Polo Plaza. Sadly, the rate at the MP is down a little from March when I first checked, but still much more than when I stayed there last Ocotber, November, August and July.

It is summer in the Philippines. I noticed the hotels are dropping their rates for May. My guess is they are NOT doing as good as they anticipated. Not enough Japanese or Taiwanese tourists and most of these opt for the Island Resorts out on Mactan Island. I think I will postpone booking the rest of my Trip until next week. See what rates I get then. I anticipate rates 25% less than now for the same dates. Even the Marco Polo in Davao has dropped its rates for May.

I stopped staying at the Elizabeth Hotel 1 1/2 years ago. Tired of food quality and no swimming pool for my children and ladies I bring over. Also the GM quit and they had not replaced him, leaving a huge decision making void at the top. The woman Manager is simply a "rank and file" employee and not much on Decision Making.

I have stayed at the Marco Polo Plaza the last three Trips. Like it but this Trip is during the Summer Vacation time in the POhi8 lippines. MP wants more than twice what I paid last October for the same room type. And no breakfast. I haave decided to try new Hotels where I never stayed. I booked three (3) nights at the Best Western Hotel on the corner of Escarion St and Juan Osmena Ext. I will also book two nights at the Questor Hotel on Archbishop Reyes. Has anyone tried either of these hotels? I am undecided as to what to do after the first fi venights in Cebu City. I may leave.

As a footnote, I sent an I'm to the 20 year old in Cebu that I saw and fucked on my last two trips to Cebu. As I mentioned, she asked me for a little money. Education or lack thereof IS often indicated in Posts and retorts in the Forum. I have NEVER been to Kings' Spa!. I posted that the prices quoted for the Spa for Massage and getting laid were Very Excessive. And the poster stated that the girls were 5-6's on a 1-10. I intend to be heading over as soon as work slows down. I will most likely stay at the Marco Polo Plaza Hotel, assuming I get a decent rate. My Sons and my Daughter ALL want a Hotel that is nice and has a swimming pool. If I will be on my own for a few days I may try the Elizabeth Hotel again. This would also involve my getting the preferred rate I had before. I hope they hired a new GM. The Manager does NOT have the skills to run the Hotel. I like the rooms at Elizabeth and its central location, plus walking distance to Ayala Mall.

I then note another possibility as I had to send the funds to her sister, who had the same Family Name as I used 8 weeks earlier. Her sister knew I had helped her once and decided she should "get a piece of this action" for herself, She contacts me and gives me the story I related here. Figures I will forget about this and her sister will never know. If she does find out, I am sure she does not care.

Will anyone be at the Cebu Fiesta which begins January 18? I was there in 2013. It was much too crowded for me. But there are many, many young, beautiful Filipinas about then. The night before the big parade I went out to the CLub south of Fuente on Osmena Blvd. Formerly the Silver Dollar. For some insane reason the new owner changer the Name which it has since 1989. I believe Sinulog begins in Cebu City on Sunday, January 18 and the Parade is the morning of Saturday, Jan 24. Fiesta concludes with the Festivites at Santo Nino Cathedral on Sunday morning Jan 25.
