Lookin, I don't think any of us ever got enough in our younger days, which is why we love this place. I think most of us are coming from the same place. The exceptions being the younger guys who are smarter than we were and discovered the country earlier than we did. Of course the PI, most of the rest of SE Asia and most of Africa (and I understand much of South America) illustrate that there's a way of life that's radically different from North America and Europe. It just takes many, if not most of us a long time to find it out.

It all sounds very enticing. I first got the idea of finding an Asian babe when an old friend from L.A., Cal. went to China and brought 1 home to marry and she is very intelligent. You will find plenty of non-pros equally willing to spend time with you provided you're reasonably articulate, dress reasonably well and are reasonably nice to them.

In general, I agree with the DS about the pro scene in Manila. It's ubiquitous, but expensive. LA Cafe however (my opinion is not always shared by others) is worth the trip. No ladies drinks, no bar fines and no hassle. If you're lucky, you will end up with a nice looking girl and it will not cost you more than Php1,500. The EDSA entertainment complex in Manila, where the bar fines are only Php1,000 the the girls' tips Php1500-2000 can also be fun. Bourgos St. and the Roxas Street bars are outrageous and should be avoided, though there are lots of free lancers on Bay Walk. I have a very good friend who recently picked up a freelancer outside Cafe Havana in Greenbelt and he paid only Php1500, so that might be worth a try as well.

I hope you eventually make it to the PI and check it out yourself.

As a new member I have eagerly read many. Would love to contribute a report of my own about the Phillipines some day. Have never been there but am looking forward to a trip. Just wondering? How accepting are "good looking" young bar girls to older men? I am 61 but could pass for 55. Of course willing to pay. Hope I didn't miss something about this subject in earlier forum discussions. If so my apology's.

Did you get a moment to read my recent Post in Davao here about the guy in Henny's De Bonte Koe Restaurant last May 5? As I mentioned he was also staying at the Marco Polo Hotel with his girlfriend. I would guess his age at 72 (give or take 10 years depending on the booze, smoking, drugs, etc). She could not have been more than 21, and was a gorgeous 21!. No pro either.

The pros DO NOT CARE if you are 30 or 80. Anyone who thinks otherwise, call me. I am unloading some "family heirlooms" from my Dad;s Estate. Make you a hell of a deal. The girls in the Clubs want MONEY $$$$$. End of Story.

Your first Post in my Forum! Thankyou. I wrote a Post in 2004 that a few guys called the "Best Report they ever read". No joke. It was titled, "Davao on $15 a day". This included three meals, Hotel with a/c and 12 beers. It needs to be updated but the point is this: You do not have to be wealthy to travel to the Phils for 2-3 weeks.

Today Davao would run you $ 25/day to $ 30/Day for a decent Hotel room, three good meals and 8-10 San Miguel beers. You do not have to be cheap or a freeloader. Just some simple steps. More on this later.

If you are after the pro girls in the Clubs head for Angeles City first. Skip Manila as it is too expensive for this, although I am certain GE will insist you do a night at LA Cafe. In Cebu do the Happy Hour time at Silver Dollar from 5-9PM nightly. Drinks and ladies drinks are both cheaper than and there are far fewer men around. Women start arriving by 5:00PM and there are at least 20 there by 7:00PM. I like the time as less men means more attention from the ladies and less smoking to have to contend with as a non smoker.

In Davao the girls in the Clubs tend to be expensive. Everything is negotiable, of course. The simple phrase, "will you take a little less"? is effective. Still more fun to try your luck on Rizal Promenade and the area around Ground Zero.

Thanks for the nice words. You have a ton of years to go. My Father died recently at 89. He was doing pretty good up until the last 1 1/2 years. Noteworthy is the fact that he was a very heavy drinker until age 74. Once he retired from US Law Enforcement he began to drink constantly, I guess out of boredom. One of many reasons I will not retire. But another noteworthy point that at the age he died he was earning $90,000/yr.

I do not intend to ever retire. I see what it does to many expats I run into. My young son is too big and too strong at just over a year. When at the mall a few weeks ago in Cebu he did a fast disappearing act when we stopped to have coffee with Cooler Brew from the Board. I had to get up, but Cooler Brew was even quicker. His mother found him in seconds but he was fast.

I am looking to buy a home in the Philippines so I have a place of my own here. When my reservation was messed up last Dec 31 at Casa Leticia it ad me thinking about this even more. I cannot count the number of times I had to scramble for a Hotel due to a Convention, Fiesta or whatever. Having your own place is not only a good investment but eliminates all this worry.

I often get asked one question: "how do you meet all these gorgeous women?" The answer is simple. I work at it. You can do it also.

Here is what I do that works for me. You do not have to pay attention. If you have a method which works, then keep at it. If you are always paying for Pros (nothing wrong with this) and would like the company of regular ladies; or you find yourself spending many lonely nights in Manila, Cebu or Davao, you may want to try my approach.

1. I believe that "appearance is everything". First impressions do matter and they are made within seven seconds after the person notices you. Second impressions can alter the "first impression" but it is much easier to start on a high note and continue upward. I always dress nice when I go out seeking pussy. This means a long sleeve 100% cotton dress or casual shirt, a nice pair of jeans or dress pants (no shorts) and black dress shoes and black socks. Leave the sneakers and white socks for the gym or basketball court.

2. I mentally force myself NOT to be shy. I approach women I see on the street or in a cafe. I smile, introduce myself and give it my best at being friendly. If the lady is clearly uninterested, I move on. Wasting time with a woman who is clearly not interested is the biggest mistake we make. In this approach the thing I like is that I am doing the picking. 3) This one really helps. Plan Ahead. Get on the internet and in chat rooms for the Philippines and meet young ladies from the cities you plan to visit. Have a webcam so they can see you. Get them to go on webcam also. Compliment them on their beauty and inform them of how anxious you are to be with her in a few short weeks. Get the cellphone number and call a few times before departing on your Trip. Do NOT tell them the exact date of your arrival or what Hotel you will be staying at unless you are certain she is the only lady you want to meet. Politely get her to promise to come alone to meet you but do not go balistic if she brings a couple friends or even mother.
