For someone who knows their way around Lima and speaks some Spanish, hiring someone to line up chicas for you is a monumental waste of money, even at $10 per meeting. Why pay for something that is freely available?

For someone who:

i) lacks the language skills, or
ii) is unfamilair with Lima and does not, therefore, know where to look for babes, or
iii) does not have either the time or the inclination to do the research

a chica procurment service at $10 per meeting strikes me as an invaluable service and a bargain. Only time will tell what kind of market exists in Lima for this kind of service. I say good luck to Rosita and Paola in their new venture.

IMHO, $3/min is worth it for about 2 minutes only. If other countries are similiar to Ecuador in cellular services, my experience showed that the minimum cost of a SIM card was about $6 which includes a phone number AND time (maybe 10 to 20 minutes -- can't remember exactly...).

Extra minutes cards were at least $5 (good for only a week), $10 and up cards were good for a month or more.

This was with the internationally known "Movistar" service which I can't say how their rates are outside of Ecuador.

I would guess that they function similiarily elsewheres.

I think an introduction for LB's wife would be the best way to bring her "out" to the ISG population. Given that many, many, new people show up providing services, it's quite normal to be very skeptical about new people. I kind of hate to see people come down to any latin country that can't speak enough english to set up an appointment, but it does happen.
