Medellin Hotels and Rental Apartments

I have been visiting Medellin for twelve years (more than 50 trips) and have only stayed in places with security four or five times. I deal almost exclusively with FB ladies and their friends. I've had problems two times with the chicas. They didn't want to leave unless I gave them more money. Both eventually left when they realized they were not getting more money. I've picked up two chicas from the Parque Lleras area, and one was a real problem. A problem for foreign mongers is you can't make any red mark on them because they will claim you attacked them. I have heard the police almost always side with the chica if there is a confrontation.

There have been numerous reports of Tinder chicas robbing and drugging mongers. My advice is to take any Tinder chica to a short-term motel.

Thanks for your advice Fun Luvr, I wasn't aware there was such a big difference in the security of Tinder vs. FB. Fortunately have been able to cross-check some Tinder girls thru FB, but will definitely heed your warning and look into short-times.

Any advice on protecting myself when staying in an apartment with its own private entrance? I thought it'd be great to bypass security checks and fees, but reading some of your reports I'm worried I might be vulnerable without those checks. Planning to bringing FB girls and tinder girls back to my place in Envigado. If you couldn't tell, my 1st trip to mde.

It's the one place you don't have to worry about anything if you're renting with the right host. Security checks and logs the chica's cedula for theirs and your protection. It's a bit expensive but not having to worry about guest fees etc makes it well worth it when you're pulling 3-4 chicas per day.

Can confirm, have stayed at energy living before really luxurious and the staff are top notch. Never had any issues the whole time I stayed there. Plus some of the girls coming thru there are top notch and you can catch them swimming or at the gym on the roof top.

Hey guys first post, traveling to Medellin with a group of 10-11 guys, was wondering what the best place to stay in close or in Poblado? Looking for a penthouse style or house where we can all stay instead of separate hotel rooms. Been to Cartagena a few times but only once to Medellin. Any help would be appreciated.

Definitely good advice. In my case, I'm talking about a single girl. I met her at the mansion bar and took her to my room there first. So multiple ID checks before we even made it to the Hilton.

I can report that the Hampton by Hilton Medellin is at least somewhat girl friendly. The lobby is on the 14th floor, so there's no need to bring your girl to the front desk. Sometimes there is a door man who checks IDs, other times you can walk right in. I've brought the same girl every day, but she is not registered to my room or anything. I don't know how they would react to different girls every day or multiple girls, but it seems that they are ok with guests if you keep it low key.

I stayed at Hotel Du Parc for a week in August. It was a great hotel with many perks, but I don't think I'll go back.

First the pros:

Very friendly staff.

Fantastic breakfast buffet included.

Guests were impressed.

Clean.

Spacious room.

Cons:

Expensive.

Not more than one guest per day without a substantial guest fee.

Vast majority of other guests were not there to enjoy guests.

When I plan on going again I'll most likely spend my time at either an AirBnB or dedicated mongering hotel. The costs (to me) weren't justified. I also called and they said that unlimited guests wouldn't be a problem with no fees, so when I get there and there is a fee it kinda ticked me off. It could be that my Spanish was terrible though.
