Posts: 133Do the AirBnB apartments have a in room safe?
Have never stayed in a AirBnb so far but thinking of giving it a try this time.
Does most of recommended airbnbs on this forum (in Medellin) come with a in room safe?

Posts: 133Any recommendations for a very GF hotel in poblado
Having seen the M hotel rates, I am beginning to wonder if it is better for me to stay elsewhere. Their rates are simply way too high.
Any Any recommendations for a very Guest Friendly hotel in Poblado that is a popular with seasoned mongers?
Du parc?
Haven?

I used to stay in Poblado all the time. Used airbnb and stayed at the Blux as well as a couple of small places near Lleras.
The Blux was a hike to Lleras. Not so bad downhill but uphill. Man. Friendly but need ID at entrance. Never tried more than one at a time.
But I wanted a place where you do not have the walk of shame or a porter is checking on everyone coming in and out so I have switched. Mostly staying around Laureles now, a couple of times at Conquistadores. Pretty easy to get anywhere: Centro, Poblado, some casas, etc.
Search in airbnb. Some places are pretty nice. No hotel services but. Have the chica do it. LOL.

I've done a bit of searching the forum and it seems that Blux was at one time guest friendly, then 6-7 months ago it wasn't, and now it is? Does anyone know what their policy is now?

Has anyone had experience staying in Orange Suites in Poblado? I've booked a nice looking suite through airbnb. Reviews on tripadvisor seem to be mixed, particularly with regards to noise and hot water.
I have confirmed with them that they are guest friendly.
Thanks.

Posts: 127I've been reading the posts on this thread with interest. I will be visiting Medellin for the first time in November. I am looking at Haven for a place to stay, but the more I look into my plans, the less I think I'll spend too much time around Poblado. But I want a girl-friendly hotel as that will be my plan for a few days when I need to work. Any other recent experiences of girl-friendly hotels would be appreciated, in Poblado or elsewhere. Thank you!
