Medellin Hotels and Rental Apartments

Dude, do yourself a favor and do a ISG search on this my place. It is a fricking dump. It is a house where you rent a bedroom and share the rest of the place. When I arrived in Medellin I stayed at a hotel the first night, then went looking for a place to stay the rest of my trip. I checked this place out because it was mentioned on here, and Frank had posted some nice pics of girls he knows, but when I saw the place, I said no fuckiing way. Do not ruin your vacation by staying in this place. If you are looking for something clean and economical check out some of the hotels near Mayorista. I would do exactly what I did, and stay in a nicer hotel, or even at casa blanca or el castillo, then the following day when you learn the lay of the land a little bit, find a more economical place.

1. My Place, Calle 85 #51-27, Apt. 301, Barrio Santa Maria, Itagui, near "Parque de Las Chimeneas" (La Mayorista). Rates: US$25 night, the 7th day is always free, US$150 week (US$21 a night). Owner Frank Casio.

Possible trip in April, I'm just wondering do you have girls on-site?

Do any of you mongers have any experience renting from First American Realty? Dream experience? Nightmare? Easy of use? Quality of Units? They seem to have a wide selection at reasonable prices.

I've used them. They were fine. They do have a nice selection of apartments. However, they neglected to tell me the pool was out of commission. If something is important to you, ask them beforehand. I will probably use them again on my next trip.

I for one am really looking forward to trying your place out! Seen too many good things on here and after my last experience at the CBs (which I won't get into, there are already too many stories about that place) I have to try something new. Thanks for making the reservation process really easy.

My pleasure reason, I sounded like half a loon, it's because I see to many people use horrible judgement that can wreck your holiday. Nothing worse then having your passport robbed and having to deal with that. Like Siam said there's no reason you can't find a really nice bartender right there or something really classy. I just sent down the webber Q BBQ, to be installed out on the deck. When I stayed there I said this place needs double windows and a grill. So I'm on it. You have no issues running hot tub at any hour no one is below you except the hotel landing. Enjoy. I'll say this once here about CB, no matter how good anything is in life, going to the same place every single time kind of blows. Everyone eventually graduates and moves on. You have favorite group of guys take over my 5 bedroom for a few nights. It's surely not animal house nor will I allow it, but the freedom, comfort and price, and I'll win you over. Plus I will not knock on the door in my boxers. Ruben will call you and say like grown men the lady below is freaking out please help us out.

Hhahahah. Glue sniffers! I was thinking more like a normal girl from the night club or maybe like girl from a classy spot but yes I do understand your concern for some suspect skank. With a location like that I'd say it's super easy to take home bartenders and waitresses. My favorite targets!

There is zero issues bringing anyone over here but your 100% responsible for their actions, I rather not have some Mayorista glue sniffer in my beautiful apartment. Nor am I Saying that this sir is what you would bring here. It's more of general concern for my place to entire assembly here. You just show the hotel the key say at most you say the apt. Number and up you go. No signing in here. But everything is under security camera for yours and our safety. The apartment is on the second floor. January we are adding inner windows to help with noise. The price will not go up, it's not all that expensive and I am a fair man. You can book up to six months here in advance for the studio or apartment 1. I don't wish to hold anyone's money more then this far in advance. Prices go up only during flower festival, Christmas and New Years. When not rented we rent short term for 70, 000 pesos for 6 hour period. Booking is 50% down via paypal balance plus 150 security on check in.

You are 100% correct; the location and the price is spot on! The facilities look nice too. My concerns would be if I came home with or had a girl come over if the hotel would try to have her sign in or all that other junk. What floor is the unit on?

I just might give your studio / 1bed a try on my next trip. How far iin advanced can you book?

It's somewhat loud Wed. Saturday, I had no problem sleeping their Wed. Night. The trade off is your right in Lleras at $65 / night for a place with AC, Hot Tub, terrace. 50 plasma, king bed, wall safe, wifi, washer dryer combo, and brand new kitchen, you have to ask yourself is it worth it to you. Especially if your out till almost 3am when everything is forced to shut down.

This studio was carved out of a one bedroom. It's inside a hotel but privately owned by me. It has 2 AC units, terrace, king bed, hot tub. 50 inch Plasma, new kitchen, redone bathroom, wifi, safe, Ipod dock, and a washer dryer combo. Prices are set at 70 / night, $450 / week

Have stayed in Bbrocs places and they are a top notch company. There have been times when I am in Med not staying with them and they still have helped me out, That say volumes to me. His people are the best, here's to another great year coming up Berry.
