"Tiny" may be a slight exaggeration the other way. I attended an outside portable cart bar late at night. They had two pretty real girls that appealed. Also one Katoey. This is spot on and is very easy to identify on the street actually. I saw a few on the streets of Bangkok last night with that same "artificial" look to which you refer, including one with blue contacts. It's so, so obvious and I would say even easier to spot in person versus in a picture. That combined with height and voice are three easy factors that I use to keep away, along with generally avoiding tutes on the street and known lady boy clubs (I researched that shit before my trip believe you me).

I'm glad Jackson allows this thread on the site because we really need to share useful intel on how to avoid the lady boys. I've found them to be rather ubiquitous here, and it's one thing I definitely don't like about Thailand. Anyone would require a lot of luck to do well on that test. Only about 4 or so were very obvious ladyboys and some if the real ladies looked suspect too. Girl number 1 looked suspect to me. I would need to see the height and hips, hear the voice, watch the walk excetera.

Simple. We have Aprocrine glands in armpits that secrete stinky bacteria. Thai people basically do not have them (or very few). I am not talking about the raw garlic and raw onions stink that is different. We have to take measures to clean very often, replace shirts not clean any more, use a deodorant that dries it up and shrinks the pores to reduced excreted oils. In bad cases antibacterial treatment may be needed. Soap and water can keep mild cases under control. Just water won't do it.
