Not at all surprised a waiter in Tijuana would be giving the wrong change.

I specifically get $10 bills for buying fischas and usually just buy my own drinks with $1 bills. Paying with larger bills at really most bars anywhere is asking to be short changed.

Towards the end of my first Tijuana trip ran out of dollars and used pesos and later realized I'd been severely short changed several times.

These fischas getting up to $9, $10 for a mini bottle that they pound down in 5 minutes is getting kinda ridculous.

It's ficha, not fischa as you've written in every single post. You say you have an upcoming trip so I look forward to some actual session reports and photos even better.

While I have had many issues all over the rest of the Zona. And some of my lesser experienced wingmen have had even more and bigger issues in the rest of the Zona.

My wingmen and I have never had issues in HK. They do their job trying to sell drinks and enforce the buisness rules but I never feel like I am getting hustled inside HK.

Actually never felt that way inside Tropical. The time I got attempted hustled from Tropical occured at my room in Cascadas. Tropical manangement apologized for his behavior.

On the flip side when my wingman got hustled out of a shitload of money at Adelitas by a waiter there management did not give a f.

Have been going to Zona Norte on and off for around 10 years now. Had my first experience with a hustle attempt by an HK bartender just last month. I gave him a 500-peso note (around $25) for 1 beer and he gave me only a few dollars change. I looked at the change confused trying to process what just happened. He then pretended to also be confused and eventually gave me the correct change LOL. Have never had anything like that happen to me before down there, though I do usually pay in USA Dollars not pesos. I have been warned by Mexican-Americans who know I go down to Tijuana to try not to pay in pesos because it increases the chances they'll try to rip you off.

My friend, unfortunately you were given a "rufe. " This previously happened to me in Tropical. One night, I went with my GF (who used to work at Tropical) and we were drinking Tecate Lights. At about 10 pm, all I remember is 4 meseros carrying me out to a taxi. The taxi drove us to her apartment. I was out until 4 pm the next day, waking up feeling totally drugged out. I had about $300 in my pocket and when I woke up, I saw that I had only $100. My GF told me that the meseros spiked client drinks regularly, usually when one of the girls has an ahole for a client or when someone is seriously drunk, so they can rob him. Hell, for all I know, my GF could have signaled the meseros to drug me. She said it is a powdery substance that they put in the drinks. As I have said before when dealing with Tropical meseros, don't order mixed drinks there. Just order beers but tell them that you will need them to open in front of you.

I have also experienced meseros in Tropical try to cheat me by not bringing my change or short changing me. They are the worst for this.

Just out of curiosity, were you with a girl by the name of Yamilet?

Thus, I only drink bottled beer that is opened in front of me and never let it out of my sight until I've entirely consumed it. Rinse and repeat.

At this point I knew what had happened and so made a break for the door and taxi quickly back to my hotel before it got worse. These assholes ruined my night. The funny thing is I saw a several super drunk Koreans in there but didn't think anything about it until getting hit myself.

P.S. The hangover today sucks.

That's messed up. What do you look like if you want to share? Like why would they pick you? Do you look like you have more than 300 cash on you? What would be the point of spiking your drink? They can get fired there's cameras everywhere, guys are emptying their wallet anyway, the staff makes q fortune compared to working at burger king or oxxo. I drink beers every week in the little dumpy bars in the alley, always only gringo in them and have never been spiked. Maybe I look poor.

Even Hong Kong's Korea bar got me with the 50 dollar beers trick. They didn't tell me till I was in the room with her. I should of left but I didn't. And the beers are always chick beers. I believe they are luke 2% alcohol, and probably 4 ounces. So if your not paying attention, your thinking, ok I'll pay 50 bucks for 5 beers give her one drink 4 be really drunk what the hell. But that not what it is. I suppose that's why it's better to only have 160 on you when you walk into these bars. Then they can't get you for those 50 dollar beer buckets because you want have the money if you. Ought yourself and a girl a couple drinks already.

HK wants to make big profit selling lots of high-margin fichas, but there are no rules requiring you to buy them just to talk to the girls.

You can just walk up to any girl, talk to them and negotiate business. If a mesero is nearby, he's under management's order to butt in and sell fichas, but you can tell him to bug off. If you stay with the girl too long, various meseros will butt in, interfering with conversation, shaming you into buying the girl a drink.

Most girls would prefer to skip the fichas and chit chatting to go quickly to the hotel to make more money in bed anyway. Some hot ones would go straight out saying "no fichas, solo sexo. " However, if you like the girl and want to have a conversation with her, it's always polite to offer her drinks.

HK I have never felt like I was being finessed into some kind of beer / other form of upsell scheme. I have asked for some of the upsell services and enjoyed some of them but never has a waiter try to finesse the upsell on me in HK. I do get 1-3 HK girls per trip because they are the best looking. I am getting pretty good at finding the freaks in this club though the level of freaky is lower than other clubs.

After that incident, I brought back a gal from HK to my room. We had agreed on a 2 hour session. We did use protection, but other than that, to be blunt, she was a freak, great time. But the twist here is an hour into the session, a mesero knocks on the door. Says that since we're at an hour, I have to pony up for 5 lady drinks to keep the session going. Interesting. Well of course I pony up because I'm having a great time, and I don't know any better. Not sure if that's a normal thing, or a moment where I should have told him to hit the bricks, hopefully you older, wiser types will let me know. Nearing hour 2, mesero is back. Same deal, but this time if I want to keep the gal in my room I have to pony up $100 for 10 drinks. The gal acts surprised by this, has words with the mesero, but she'd told me earlier she's been around the biz off and on for 3 years, so should know all the ins and outs. She says she'll stay but for her cut won't charge me for extra time. So I pony up the goods yet again, and sure enough, the mesero brings 10 little shot glass size drinks (non-alcoholic). Too funny. Unloads them on the counter, I fork over the Benjamin, then he taps on the 'propina' written on his tray. Well played. Anyway, to sum it up, I ended up w / a 2 hour 45 minute session that while high was at better than low end Vegas prices, and the gal really did a helluva job on me, so I guess I can rationalize it in my head that way.

I had a waiter doing something similar to me from Tropical girl / waiter at Cascadas. I complained to management at Tropical. Multiple girls who are regulars with me have told me if something like this happens the girl is in on it. Waiters will apparently not come up to your overnight room on their own is what two girls told me. The girl needs to bring them up from what I understood.

Maybe the girls telling me this were just trying to secure money from the competition. Maybe it is true. The waiter who did this to me seemed really cool until I started having drinks with this one girl.

Games like this are played at every club besides HK.

Adelitas the worst. The games played here can cost a monger over $100. I have seen it.

Chicago a little better. The extra money table seats or stupid jacuzzi room upsell it nuts. Right after the TJ Lockdown ended I was getting some dumb hour room rates that I had to push through that game. I keep going here because the best 2 sexual experiences I have had in my life were Chicago girls.

Tropical does a little finesse game. Tropical is my main place as I prefer high quality sex over extremely good looking girls who allow their looks to be their service. Twice in the last year I have had to fend off some kind of beer game. It is far less than Adelitas and Chicagi.

This would be such a gigantic turn-off for me. If they did that to me, that'd be the end of the session. I'd pay the girl for the pro-rated session, and let her know that the mesero just cost her a bunch of money, because they just killed my mood. I know myself, I'd be too steamed to get going again after that. Nothing pisses off one of these girls more than knowing that someone just messed with their money, especially if it's something they're not aware of.

Also, if this isn't a "pay at the end" lesson, I don't know what else is. If you pay upfront and they pull this stuff, then you're up the creek without a paddle. Anytime a girl asks for money up-front that's the end of the session. I tend to care less about the SW, because it's like $20-30, but with club girls, it usually turns into the most uninspiring experience ever.

Sounds like the girl was super cool, but this could easily happen with one that's not.
