Why are there so many recent posts concerning "2 for 1" beers at TB and LC? TB never had 2 for 1. It was always 2 for 2. Same thing with Playboy, LC, and all the other bars that advertise "2 for 1." The only bar that truly had 2 for 1 beers was CC right after their remodel, when they offered 1 beer free which then turned into 2 for 1.

You are sadly mistaken. Like I said before, you never got a 2-for-1 beer at Tropical. When 1 beer costs $2, and 2 beers cost $4, it is not 2-for-1. It is 2-for-2. Pre-covid, on the wall, just to the right of the main bar, there was a menu posted. It listed the prices of all the drinks. Domestic beers were listed as $2. I often ordered 1 beer for $2. Other times the meseros would insist I order 2 beers for $4, which is a scam. I would send the mesero away and find another, or order at the bar. Now the beers are $3 and the menu is not posted anymore.

I don't care whether it's 2 for 1 or 2 for 2 as Clammy wrote. Tropical is one of my favorite spots and all I know is I've paid 72 pesos for two Indios and given the bartenders 8 pesos as tip. The rest is just semantics because I'm happy, the bartenders are happy and bottom line I've received two beers for roughly the cost of one at the more popular bars in Zona.

Sat Oct 10 when Tropical first reopened, I found a dozen new girls, fresh and pretty in fancy party dresses, hanging out in the bar.

A bro in San Diego reported 2 hottest ones declined to go to the hotels.

Looks like Tropical remodeled and brought in edecans to boost up business. No wonder they looked new, so fresh and pretty. HK did this for months after it remodeled.

Before buying lots of fichas to romance Tropical's girls, the bros should ask if they go arriba. If they don't, move on to other girls.

I remember the edecans in HK, a few eventually stayed and became working girls. I remember one that told me she does not go up, the next night she was more than willing!

Tropical used to be a typical Mexican dive bar, dark, uneven floor, grimy old tables and couches, homely girls in frumpy street clothes, sitting listlessly like disinterested zombies. But during the shutdown it was cleaned up and remodeled, new furniture, better sound equipment, sensuous lighting, new young girls in classy party dresses that makes it worthwhile spending time.

Tropical girls seem fresher than HK girls, worth checking out.

I agree, it was a good place to get started with the 2 for 1 beers. I very rarely spent any time with girls there. I like the way it sounds now with girls dressing a little classy. I'll have to check it out sometime next week.

Went in Tropical around 7 PM. The place has been remodeled with new tables, upholstered couches and mural lighting, very nice and classy, just like HK.

There were about 20 girls. Before CoVid, average-looking girls would sit around glumly in their street clothes, but now most are new, younger girls, dressed up in classy sequined party dresses, standing and walking around the club with smiling faces, showing off their lithe bodies, long legs, hot natural boobs, soft, shiny skin. Tropical's talents have been upgraded with a dozen new hot girls, and the majority now rival HK; s girls in age, beauty and glam factors. There were no strippers while we were there. A few couples were dancing on the dance floor to Mexican and American music. The quality of sound and lighting have dramatically improved.

Met with a bro just flew in from the snow country. We were squeezing each other, laughing, talking excitedly like long-lost brothers. The bros ordered way too many beers, then a bucket and a pizza. We were drinking and eating, having a fun time among guys with kindred spirit hehe. I always have good times meeting new bros.

Meseros were pushing girls' companies. A pretty spinner came to sit with us, drinking her ficha slowly with good conversation in English. She was working at the Viet strip joint Cafe Lu, knew all popular spots for good ethnic food in OC, probably shacking up with a BF there. We were all having a good time but wanted to show the visiting bro the HK scene, so were trying to drink up too many beers. The pizza from Azul's was very good. I offered half of it to the girls at the bar and they graciously accepted. The girls were all nice, sweet, beautiful. It was sad that all of them were just standing around the bar not doing any business on a Sat night. I went around offering $ tips to the hot ones for showing up to work in the bar. I wish I had lots of time and money to party with them and buy them drinks. Hope business will soon turn up for them..

I am happy to hear that. Thanks for the report Cap. I have never enjoyed my time at Tropical. In fact, I have only gone there maybe 4 times and never for very long. However, during the shutdown, I had some really great times at Rizo. I found some really good talent. Anxious to get back there and give Tropical one more try.

The visiting bro met a local bro with lots of good girls' contacts in Tijuana, so he will be well guided for the weekend. We wrapped up to check out Hong Kong, Adelita and Chicago club. I literally just got stood up by this chica who was supposed to show up to motel premier. She was supposed to arrive by 8:15. I texted her called, nothing phone was completely turned off. I gave her until 8:35 and I texted my backup chica who said she'd be here by 9:30. Then at 8:55 the first chica calls from some strange number telling me she's in the Uber at motel premier borrowing the Uber drivers phone. I told her sorry I already left the motel I thought you stood me up. I lied actually I'm still here but I already have this other chica on the way. It's like being a circus director trying to coordinate anything ahead of time with these chicks.

Oh then the chica tells me she has a backup phone and she gives me the other number in case I can't reach her on her primary phone. I told her IF YOU HAD A BACKUP PHONE THIS WHOLE TIME WHY THE HELL DIDN'T YOU USE IT to communicate with me what was going on??!! She had no explanation or answer to that question. LMAO!! I swear to god I'm not making this up. But even with all that nonsense I'll still continue to hook up with this girl because she has huge tits and booty and is a total nympho. And she's always been kinda flaky anyway..
