I like the way you roll. You are probably a bigger spender than I. But you value the time with good chicas, as do I. Question: I seem to recall your Spanish is limited. Do I remember that correctly? I speak passable Spanish. I would fail 3rd grade grammar. LOL But I definitely speak well enough to carry on some basic conversation. If you aren't fluent, has the language limitations ever hurt your game?

I speak limited Spanish and would probably fail preschool Spanish. I was married to a Mexican American for over 20 years, but never bothered to learn as I didn't find much value since it didn't make me money. I learned basic food from a deployment to Honduras, but not much else. I think humor and easy going nature is what chicas like. They say consistently I'm crazy, they have fun, and it doesn't feel like work when I'm with them. Not a big spender, actually cheaper to monger international destinations than in SoCal market. They seem to appreciate the money more in international destinations more than SoCal providers, but some SoCal providers also appreciate the business. I just got back and spent time with a Chicago regular, but before I met with her I met with a Tropical regular from Monterrey. A bro took her to Puerto Vallarta for 3 days and she wanted to see me. Your VIP card should apply to the suite, if you can get them to give it to you. Some guys will suggest that you confirm that a suite is available before you mention the VIP card. There is the belief that the desk people will tell you there is no suite available if they know you are using a VIP card.

Thanks for the info. I ended up trying to reserve a suite, but I got a response saying they only had Single rooms available. So I will be staying in Hotel Cascadas instead, but do plan on visiting Tropical Bar. Will give a report when I return.

Dchrist don't get down on yourself for passing out and not doing anything with the girl. My last visit I woke up in the hotel room alone and no memory of what happened. I noticed a condom on the floor but empty. So my guess is that I passed out and she just left. Now I'm embarrassed to go back and see her again. LOL.

I'm not too disappointed in the night. If I ever get to see her again, it'll be a great laugh. Disappointed that I didn't get that number. I know I need to be more cautious too. There is EV charging. Pulgas is definitely a party. A little more tame than in years past. But definitely a place you can pick up civies, if that's your thing.

Ticuan is comfortable. It's a "normal" hotel, unlike Rizo or Cascadas. Lots of single gringos. LOL. The food isn't bad. Zona is walkable distance. It just gives me a break from the zona. Sometimes, that area depresses me.

I always stay at Ticuan. I feel better not spending all of my time in the zona. It's just a mile away. It might not make much sense. LOL Just the way I've done it. It works very well for escorts but it's been several months that I've used an agency. All that said, I am thinking about trying Rizo out for my next 3 or 4 day trip.

This info is a few weeks late. But I'll share in case it helps anyone. This was a very odd night. It was both good and bad. So, I set out to go to HK. I was actually hoping to finally meet the Captain. When the taxi pulled up (from the East) traffic wasn't moving so I just got out in front of Tropical. I thought just one tequila. Haha. Sat at the bar, had a couple tequilas and just relaxed a bit. Then a mesero brings over a chica. Generally, I don't like that. I find it awkward and prefer to shop for myself. My first reaction was this girl is cute but needs to smile. So, like a sucker, I said ok, one drink. Her name is Kimmy from Sonora. She's really attractive in the girl next door manner. Glasses. Dressed nicely, fairly conservatively. That one drink turned into hours at the bar. It was definitely odd. We definitely enjoyed each others company. Lots of flirty talk but nothing overtly sexual. She'd wave off meseros, which is always a good sign. She was very new to Tijuana. Hates it. LOL For whatever reason, I wasn't interested in arriba. She never asked. It was just a lot of fun. I'll definitely seek her out next visit but my guess is she's probably already gone home. I don't think she'll do well in that job.

When I walked thru last in 2015 it looked dated and had some sewer smells. The smells are proly still there but if I can get a higher floor maybe not so much.

They have done some major upgrades to the room, and they are really nice nice. If you get the Tropical VIP card it gives you a 80% discount, and at $11/ night, those single rooms are the best deal in town (on Monday & Tues only).
