On my Monday-Tuesday trip, I stopped in hoping to find the same or similar girl I was with a few months earlier. The bartender knew who I was talking about (she has a rose tattoo above her right boob) but said she was not working today. I came back a little later to see if any young spinners had shown up. The selection was poor but I decided to have a beer anyway and told the mesero I only wanted one beer, he provided that, I drank it and left after refusing a couple of fatties. On Tuesday I went in and went to the bar for a drink (to avoid the mesero's) I told the bartender I wanted only one beer but he still brings me two. I said "I only want one" and he says they only come two at a time. I piont out the prices on the board across the room which list prices for single drinks. I insist that I only wanted one and he is ticked off claiming he will have to pay for the other one. I remind him the second beer is not open so he can still sell it. As I am leaving, he is still claiming I am drinking the beer he paid for. Although he did have my two bucks for the beer. Next time, I'll make a quick pass through before sitting down or getting a beer. Unless I see something very interesting, I will not stay. The meseros are the worst anywhere!

A few weeks back on a Monday evening at about 10 I found a short fake blond on the thinner side, I think she said 24 and was 2 months at BT, sinaloa of course, bought her a few beers and this girl was all over me, DFK right at the bar, I felt like "Tone-Loc and the song Funky Cold Medina" because when I got her into my room across the street at Cascadas it was full blown GFE, oh the memories of years gone by, now sing along to the FUNKY COLD MEDINA:
Cold coolin at a bar, and I'm lookin for some action.
But like Mike Jagger said, I can't get no satisfaction.
The girls are all around, but none of them want to get with me.
My threads are fresh and I'm lookin def, yo, what's up with L-o-see?
The girls is all jockin at the other end of the bar.
Havin drinks with some no-name chump, when they know that I'm the star.
So I got up and strolled over to the other side of the cantina.
I asked the guy, "Why you so fly?" he said, "Funky Cold Medina".
Funky Cold Medina.
This brother told me a secret on how to get more chicks.
Put a little Medina in your glass, and the girls'll come real quick.
It's better than any alcohol or aphrodisiac.
A couple of sips of this love potion, and she'll be on your lap.
So I gave some to my dog when he began to beg.
Then he licked his bowl and he looked at me and did the wild thing on my leg.
He used to scratch and bite me, before he was much much meaner.
But now all the poodles run to my house for the Funky Cold Medina.
You know what I'm sayin?
I got every dog in my neighborhood breakin down my door.
I got Spuds McKenzie.
Alex from Stroh's.
They won't leave my dog alone with that Medina, pal.
The Tall Man.

Catalina. I've been with her once before. She's old, she's 34 but she's beautiful and she's great at her job. She appears to be somewhat of a Tijuana legend. Based on her age I imagine that she's been rocking our worlds forever. I never see her alone waiting around for business, she's probably the most popular girl at this small bar. Perfect ass, looks fake but everything is soft up close. She gives the best deep throat I've had in Tijuana, it's covered but still amazing. There's a difference between a BJ and a deep throat. She goes all the way down for as long as you please. I probably spent 3 hours with her, an arriba and about 5 drinks. She just gets it, she appears to actually enjoy her job and knows how to do it.

Posts: 6515Deal directly with the bar tenders
I looks stupid to employ meseros when you are near the bar, and all they have to do is to walk a few steps to get them.
I always buy my drinks directly from bar tenders in HK, Adelita, Chicago, Tropical or wherever. And I never tip bar tenders as they work on salaries, not tips. They would not thank you for the tip, but looking at you like your are retarded to give them tips.
That way I don't waste my money on tips and don't have to haggle with meseros.
Wombat Ed:
I do an end run around this problem by buying my drinks at the bar. Meseros may hate me, but I've never been ripped off.

2. Always know the prices of the drinks, I always look at the prices listed at the bar before I sit down and always know what their exchange rate it for example 17 x1.
3. When handing the money over, make sure that he shows you that he acknowledges the denomination you hand over. This way, he and you both know the exact what you handed over.
4. When he comes back over with the drinks, make sure he hands you the change at the same time, if he says he will come back, make the gesture of saying ok but I use the two fingers from my eyes to him to say I will be watching.
5 a. When he hands you change, this is a trick they will use. Most gringos' that go in hate getting the change and rarely ever count the coins and most will waive it off as tips. Well, most I have seen the coins add up to almost 20 pesos or more. If your just planning to give a dollar, well you've given him more.
5 b. Always count the change in front of him and if it comes up short, put it down on the table. Do not put it in your pocket because now he can say you didn't count and maybe trying to act like an ass.
Hopes this helps.

Posts: 6515Drugged and robbed in bar Tropical?
A crooked mesero in Tropical tried to steal change from my $20 bill. I could not remember who he was, so flagged down another and complained. The shifty SOB eventually came back with change.
Tropical and Hong Kong are owned by the same guy. How could meseros drugged and robbed you? Did you pass out in your room? The girls are more likely to spike your drinks and steal from you.
Tropical is a Mexican jungle while Hong Kong is a shining example of Western civilization.

Same procedure in Hong Kong.
Women guests and non-working girls are given yellow wristbands so meseros won't try to sell them fichas.
