When I walked thru last in 2015 it looked dated and had some sewer smells. The smells are proly still there but if I can get a higher floor maybe not so much.

I am not sure if he said that because I bought the VIP card and tried to use it immediately on a nicer room, or because if it was actually taken by someone else.

Your VIP card should apply to the suite, if you can get them to give it to you. Some guys will suggest that you confirm that a suite is available before you mention the VIP card. There is the belief that the desk people will tell you there is no suite available if they know you are using a VIP card.

I will be in California next week and am planning on going down to Tijuana next Monday + Tuesday. I have been there once before, but I spent all my time in HK. This time, I want to explore the block and check out some of the other bars. Right now, my plan is to get a VIP Card + Room at Hotel Rizo De Oro. Their suites look pretty nice, especially with the VIP card discount. For anyone who has stayed in the Hotel before, any idea how readily available the suites are, specifically same day? I would hate to buy the VIP card only to find out that the only rooms available are single / double rooms.

I see there is an option to reserve a room ahead of time, but during my last trip I made a reservation at Hotel Cascadas for a suite, and upon arriving, the front desk person claimed no reservation was made. After showing him the reservation on my phone, he then said the room I reserved was not available. I am not sure if he said that because I bought the VIP card and tried to use it immediately on a nicer room, or because if it was actually taken by someone else.

My fav Tijuana moment was tropical VIP room. No blow job no sex but it was hot, she didn't ask me for money. For years after no girl asked me to go to VIP room. VIP rooms are bigger since covid. I suppose because bars are all more aggressive and it's a quick 50 bucks in Bucket girl sized beers. Tropical is definitely the new HK or 2nd HK. I've seen more gringos and Asian guys in tropical the last month than 5 years put together prior.

Oh this talk about the VIP rooms at Trop got me fondly thinking back of the years I spent in Tijuana and the fun in Trop and the VIP rooms.

I now live in Medellin Colombia for 4 years and my last visit to Tijuana and the Trop was almost 4 years ago now BUT before that I was there at least monthly from about 2000 to 2015, have many great memories.

I have stayed in the rooms more times than I can count. I liked the parking located adjacent to the rear as I usually drove in and parked for the weekend or long weekends.

And yes I have done everything in those VIP rooms not only at the Trop but at just about every bar in the zona (HK, etc.) with a VIP room at some time or another over the course of about a decade plus.

I don't like Tropicals layout and wish it had more stages or bars, but guess that is why it is mostly dead. I've found a few gems in the club and they seem more aggressive to pursue you than the girls at HK. I've found the meseros were also good at helping corral talent as they only make tips if you buy drinks. I prefer Chicago lighting, music, but sometimes lineup of ladies are hit or miss as most sit at the bars under limited lighting.

HK is cool at moments for sheer number of pole dancers, but I'm sensitive to smells like BO and smoke. They mopped the main stage last time and tried to dry it by waving a towel over it and the smell almost made me vomit. I had to get up and walk over to Miami since it has better AC and more relaxed vibe.

Never used VIP rooms at Tropical, but sure a little dinero encouragement would do the trick.

Also forgot to add I was able to use my VIP card for 20% discount at Senda Norte and paid by CC, but they required copy of my DL. Chicago regular said her Chinese food she ate was bland and not sure which restaurant she ate at.

I booked the master suite at Rizo on Sunday night and it normally costs $150, but with VIP it was $120 with $50 deposit. I met a regular from Chicago that was leaving for vacation the next day and it was fun. She is so passionate and love spending time with her. The little things she does just does it for me.

I have Marriott scheduled to meet up with an HK regular and she wants me to meet her cousins at her place before heading to the hotel. I still have free nights to burn as I dont do as much business traveling anymore.

From discussions, learned that Cascadas won't take credit cards on Mondays or Tuesdays, but will on the other days of the week. Likely have a minimum $10 charge and due to the VIP discount, it isn't worth charging for chicken feed amounts. Any recommendations on the Senda Norte menu? Tried it once and the salsa bowl was sized for a dwarf's appetite. Breakfast was OK, but Azul gives you bigger portions for your money IMO.

I always get the northern eggs. It is a thin cut rib eye over some potatoes and a sunny side up egg on top. It also comes with tortillas. I tried another dish, but not as great and I get the fresh lemonade. Also think their tortilla bowl is fresh tortilla chips and not the store bought round ones they give you at Azul. The tortilla chips they give me at Azul look stale so I don’t even touch them. I was in town Thursday and they still said cash, so maybe they just want to tie up my cash so I don't bring up more ladies?

In the last 15 years or so of being in the Zona Norte, I had exactly 1 chica that the sex got better every time. The rest of the favorites was great the first or second time, but went slowly downhill afterwards.

Yeah I have met 2 so far where they exceed my expectations. I feel bad I wasn't able to perform adequately with one of them and sure it is a real downer when everything is hot and heavy and then junior is limp as an elephant trunk. The only strange thing I found in Chicago club, they have these vendors that come by to sell flowers, teddy bears, shots, candy, etc. I had to constantly wave them off and actually bothered me as they kept circling the club like Im going to change my mind and decide to buy some roses or teddy bears a minute after they left.

Tropical bar, in the back near bathroom has sign for VIP card 40 bucks. Basically 1 free drink, and discount on hotel like hk. Could be worth it as hk vip is 60 and too much competition for hk chicks sex in my opinion. If I was flying I to town to blow a grand on woman in 2 days I'd focus my money on tropical and Chicago.
