I have read on twitter of the upcoming grand opening of the second floor tiki room.

I hope this addition increases the fun factor for the zone. Any improvements are welcome but this seems to signal that they are stepping into the hk / Adelitas format.

Tropical bar for me was a different place to hang back, drink beer and watch the entertainment both on the floor and in the booths. Always a little drunker and carrying on between the girls and the men. I do realize that HK and Tropical are both under one umbrella but maybe a foam show and a more private setting might kick it up.

Yep this is the direction the remodels have taken it. In the HK direction. I much preferred it years ago when it was more of a local type bar. Dollar dances and fichas.

Last night spent some time in the Tiki Room. It's kinda like TB's version of HK's Miami but 3 times the size. It's actually kinda nice. As you walk into BT on the far right corner there's a set of stairs. Go up and you'll find Tiki Room. On weekends there is a near-constant foam show.

I thought they should have cut a hole in the floor and allow people on the 2nd floor to enjoy the entertainment on the 1st floor. The way they have it set up, one is kind of cut off from the main entertainment downstairs. The open balcony is a nice touch though.

I guess I look at it a different way. I never buy anything, and I always say, "No gracias" with a smile. But, they are doing what they do to put food on their table, and I respect that.

So no less than 10 seconds after sitting down with a chica, a chubby flower guy with a mustache, in a dress-shirt, and a neck tie comes up and literally forces me to buy flowers for my chica. The bastard charges double for flowers than the average flower guys, wanting $20 for bouquet of roses that I know goes for $10. I can't get him to leave. The next thing I know, my chica is arguing with me, and insists on the $20 bouquet. And now the mood is fooking ruined. "WTF flower butthole, you're ruining my date, I didn't tell you to stop by you motherfucker! I thought to myself. Fed up with him and my arguing chica, I finally told him to get loss while trying to sooth my chica as she sulks and gives me the cold shoulders. How on earth can a date go to shit in less than a minute?!

15 minutes later, I spot the normal flower dude. I buy the same bouquet of roses for my chica for $10. She still gives me the cold shoulders! WTF? Then a light comes on. I am fed up. With her glass still half-full, I thank her for her time and said "adios amiga. " That is Spanish for fuck you and your middle age flower-boy fat fuck. I stood up and walked away. She spends the next few hours brushing against me as she walks by. Sorry baby, but I've moved on. As for the sharp dressed flower guy, I hope he falls in front of a moving truck one day, preferably with his head underneath one of its tires.

Watch out! Avoid the round-faced middle age flower guy with a mustache in dress-shirt and tie. He will fuck over your night before it even begins.

I never bought flowers, but I bought candies, chips, and a fruit platter in the club from vendors when I was with a chica before. They charged me double the price than if a chica bought it for herself. So now I know, and your flowers just confirmed it further.

Your comments brings back some great memories of the times I spent in BT in the past 20 years, not so much in the past 8 years but yes in the early 2000's I had a great non-pro newbie chica from Sinaloa, oh what fun we had drinking and dancing and the sex was off the charts, she lasted almost a year in BT only to leave but we kept in touch for a few years after that but time moves on, wonder how she is, also brought in my favorite songs and the DJ would play them, oh memories.

I agree with the characterization of Tropical being more of a dance hall then strip club. If you want to meet a beautiful girl and dance, all the girls at BT will go out on the floor with you. Usually you tip them $1 per song or more if you're enjoying her company. They also will do short stints of live singing. The mesero will grab a mic and start singing songs, again tip him if you're enjoying the music. When my wignman walks in they will often play a German beer drinking song. On numerous occasions I've seen day shift Adelitas girls come over to Tropical just to order a bucket of beers and chill.

I used to love to just hang out there because it had a great vibe but I don't really go to Zona to kill time anymore and my wingman isn't dating a girl that works there (she now works at a manufacturing job so she's a civie now).
