I hope that you verify your guidance before you publish. Example, lady drinks are $10 plus tip. If you tip $2, then the drinks are $12. Also, you don't need to feed the taxis when the HK shuttle is running. You ride for free or for a small tip. TB and HK are owned by the same people, so they don't care which club you are going to.

I was having some issues with my last post, so I think its time I made another.

Been going to Trop for years. Its my main spot as opposed to HK or Chicago due to its best bang for your buck. I'm going to give a full rundown of trop.

Transport options to the border: You can take an uber, take the trolley, or drive. If you are ubering, get it to the san ysidro jack in the box. If you are trolley, just go all the way to the last stop. If you are driving, there is 2 parking lots near the border. I usually park there. Prices are anywhere from $10 weekday to $20 weekend for 8 hours.

Now follow the signs for border. Walk through the entire passage way. When you clear the signs that says "Mexico" and cross the fence, you now wait in the line to the right and cross through. IF you don't have your passport, pay the border clerk $20 fee and you get a "day" pass. Walk through the border check. Now go all the way down. When you pass the taco stands, turn right there are orange cabs. Pay $7-$10 max and say trop.

Get to Trop, hefe will pat you down and you are in!

Now Trop recently got a full remodel on the inside. My favorite time to go is morning / afternoon. Weekdays are the best bang for your buck. But anyways, Trop is like Hong Kong, minus the quantity of 8-10's. Trop has a lot of pretty girls who are wanting to have fun. But just not as hot haha. In trop, you can really use this to your advantage.

So full breakdown.

Drinks are about $3 for a beer. Shots are about $5 for a don julio. Lady drinks are about $12 with tip if I recall correctly. You can take your ladies for a VIP lap dance which gives her 5 drink tix, for 30 minutes in the VIP room. In here you can negotiate extras if you like. Sometimes, I can get away with free service and a little tip for that fun. Some ladies will require payment, anywhere from $20 to $60, which would be a discount rate if you can negotiate. Otherwise some will stay with their $80-$100 rate.

Now if you want to have your own space. I recommend the Tropical rooms upstairs. You can rent a room for 45 minutes for $40. You can that way use it to your advantage for extra "Fun". My take is always negotiate everything before going upstairs. I usually buy the girl a drink and feel out the vibe. If its fun, I will go. I try to stay NO MORE than $100 for 45 minutes double fun. If its in the day. Night maybe $20 more. Make sure you have $1's to tip people along the way.

Now when you're all done. You can head back to the border or go back and relax with a drink.

I looked at the Chicago board and right away someone had asked much the same, so the following equation looks like this down the stripe: Place = Girl + Room.

Well if you copied the whole story you might of understood more of the point I was trying to make. Also in your case you left out many details about what the waiter did to upset you. From your story he was just a bad waiter that didn't deserve a better tip. So if you tipped him after he was already doing a poor job I assume that's just how he is. Maybe knowing your not a local, even though you have dual citizenship he just assumed he was going to get a dollar. In all my years of going to the Zona alone or with friends I've never had a waiter talk back about a low tip. Maybe he just assumed that since you were part Mexican that you'd share the wealth with him and tip him a buck, I know from living in Tijuana that there's lots of jealousy from the locals that can cross and those that can't and those that can't sometimes feel that those with more should be more generous sometimes. Also I know the waiters like to joke around a lot and maybe he was just teasing you but you definitely didn't feel like he was joking.

Most waiters I've dealt with treat most people the same unless you are a regular or they know you. So getting back to my original point that weather you tipped him $1 or $10 pesos wouldn't change how he is. Especially when he gets the tip after he serves you and not before so how does he know what you will tip.

I had hk waiter mad I gave him 10 pesos as a tip. We were both standing st the bar not like it was table service. I try not to ever use waiters the bartenders are ok with no tip or 10 pesos. I do tip them a dollar when I get myb1st beer as I give them a 20 and request singles. This accomplishes both things at once and I avoid the waiter. Less money better because the more you tip them the more they have to pay to work there and the more of them they will hire to bother customers.

It seems there is some confusion to the number of floors at Tropical bar.

What I think some people are calling the second floor is just a few steps up the area where the main bar is near the new exit. I would maybe call this floor 1 1/2. The third floor, what I would call floor 2, is up the full flight of stairs & usually only open weekends with the outdoor balcony.

I will double check, but there is the main floor, then there are stairs up to the second floor with the balcony that overlooks the street, then maybe a third floor above that? I was drunk last time.

Now I have to return to look again this weekend.

Tropical had its Island party on Wednesday starting in the afternoon with the normal low midweek traffic.

The front door was decorated with a thatch roof, exotic tropical totem poles, scary masks with 2 girls in grass skirts dancing outside with flowery leis, very authentic islanders hehe.

Inside 2 dozens girls were sitting around, some in flowery islander dresses, only a few guys. A live band was on the stage playing exotic music.

Right inside the tattered curtain a small bar was set up with a dozen bottles, Tequilas, Gin, Rums, whiskeys ect, all gratis, only for tips, courtesy of the management. I had bar tender Jose pour me a shot of 1800 Cristalino Tequila, worth $15 in the bar, fragrant, smooth but strong, very good tequila. Gave him $3 tip; he was all smiling. Went around the bar, squeezed $1 propinas into the boobs of all girls to show good friendship. They were all smiling sweetly.

Mexicans know how to have fun. They did a lot of work decorating and setting up equipment to draw clients in. All workers and managers were warm and fun for the party. Atmosphere was festive, fun, relaxing. Management was very nice and generous to hand out expensive liquors gratis.

Tropical also has discount coupons for 40% off hotel discount, 2-4-1 drinks and half off food in its website. Time to head over to party and have fun with hot girls.

These last couple times I have stayed at Rizo de oro I have noticed the $30 for 30 minute rooms are back but they still have the $40 for 40 minute option as well. It's been 2-3 weeks since I have stayed at Cascadas so can't speak on what they're doing over there. Hopefully they brought back the 30 for 30 rooms as well. It's still too high for just a damn standard session but better to pay 30 than 40 since those are our only options with the HK chicas. Next time one of you guys take a HK chick arriba at Cascadas keep an eye out.

I was at HK this past Thursday and it still was $40 for 40 min. The girl I took up said if we lasted 30 min I still had to pay 40 so don't think they are offering 30 min for $30. On side note she said $150 and she spend the whole 40 min.

The best place to be is the third floor with the stage. The second floor seems like a sad bar with no chicas dancing. Very rarely see any stunners in Tropical, but most have been GND types that surprise you every once and a while in the room.

The 3rd kind of bores me because the setup is too much like HK but with heavier chicas.
