Tropical now has operation on 2 floors, nice, clean with lots of room, nice, cool air, lots of large screen TV everywhere, far more relaxing and entertaining than Hong Kong which was packed with a $5 cover last Saturday.

You do have to climb 2 flights of stairs to get to their spacious and classy third floor. There was no cover for Tropical; premium beers like Bohemia was $3, fichas $8, compared to $5 and $9 in HK. There were a lot of new girls in Tropical, like 50-60 Saturday night. They tend to be older and less glammy than those in HK. I did not find anyone I like. The 2 noobs found 2 girls and took them to the hotel for $80. Down the reception area, I found a very cute young girl, nice, clean, pretty with a lanky spinner body just the way I like them, but she was going to the room with a white-hair guy. I would have taken her if she was available.

Went Saturday. Hadn't been to their speakeasy since maybe early November. Back then it wasn't bad just 4 bucks a beer as I remember it. Anyway tonight, I saw the upstairs or new level. It's like Adelitas big room plus 4 times more room around it. And the place was jumping. I'd say tonight, it had more, twice as much as HK, on a Wed night would have. Beers were 3 bucks, instead of 4 at Chicago. I don't know if that's the reason or not it was packed. Chicago had cute girls but not a lot dudes compared to this place. Hotel Korea packed with 1.80 beers, most of you would not be happy with the female selection. Gold palace was too crowded for me to stick around. Bars on revolucion were open not sure if you had to buy food probably though as the 2 I went to midweek said buying food was necessary. What a difference between dead San Diego and Tijuana.
