Thanks for that report. This one is of particular interest to me because I was with one of the Tropical girls in Rizo de Oro when the shooting took place.

It turns out that the rumor mill matched closely to your published report. One of the cab drivers mentioned that two people were shot inside the bar, but I didn't write about that because the cabbie seemed unreliable to me.

I was in and out a number of time in Trop on Saturday and they started doing the body search before entry, same as HK.

One of my Chica friends who works out of Bar Tropical posted this to her facebook account. Not much detail but 1 dead and 2 injured.

Red Cross rescuers gave first aid to a 23-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man inside the nightclub called "Tropical Bar". The injured were taken to medical services for their care.

Another 28-year-old man ended up dead in a nearby public parking lot.

Have not been down to Tijuana in half a year but was planning to go on black Friday but seeing this kind of news as well as others news I have seen makes me a little wary of going.

I was in HK and Tropical Saturday night. Kenny the HK desk guy confirmed that the Tropical Manager is alive, at least today, nobody knows about tomorrow.

The bar workers, from the floor managers down to the meseros and janitors, work long shifts, 12 to 14 hours a day for peanuts.

I give the guys I know a few $ propinas once in a while. They are grateful and remember people who tip them. Jackie888 is right. Don't give $10 to 1 girl but give 10 girls $ each. That would make you very popular.

I am guessing, shot at close range, and being taken to Tijuana hospitals staffed with crossed-eye doctors and slow, retarded nurses manana? I think the guy is dead. Even if he survived, I don't think he will ever go back to that job.

Under the merry and sexy facade, Mexican bar workers go through long work hours with lots of violence and horrible abuses. Unlike Tropical, HK security guys pat down people for weapons. I usually give the friendly security guys at the door $ and the door manager 50 or 100 P tips. Their lives are on the line when the shootings start.

I would stay away from the line of fire from the main doors, hiding in some corners or second floor balcony. When the pop, pop shooting starts, I will be the first to hit the floor flat, hopefully on top of a hot, young, pretty, sexy, throbbing chica.

800 is a deal for some of the girls I've seen in that joint. I've been out of the loop haven't been down in Tijuana since I torn my knee up few months ago when did the shooting happen? I remember one like a month ago but didn't think it had anything to do with Tropical.

Horse gave us good intel. 800 pesos is only $40. That's an excellent deal if you can find a decent-looking girl in Tropical. They all sit on their asses all night, so it's difficult to know if they have flat tummies and tight asses. I suspect most carry lots of weight below their waists on their butts and thighs.

One of the young, good-looking crack heads (Araceli?) agreed to $60. She was a hardened lesbie, without any femininity in bed, acting like a monkey. She just detested fucking a guy. At the end she jacked up the price to $80 or she would call in policia. FUCK. I complained to tropical manager (Vasquez? A big fat, slow guy with a scowl on his face. He called the girl in with her lesbie friends, let both sides air out their grievances, then ordered his lieutenant to take $20 from the bar to refund me. I could understand nothing the girls were saying, but it was fun to go through that kangaroo court. Hehehe.

Too bad Vasquez got shot. There are many risks in Tijuana. Just avoid confrontation with the locals. If any guys show bad attitudes, just smile, stick your hand out for a shake, saying " No Problemas, hermanos. " It works every time.

Silver Antimicrobial Gel available in CVS pharmacies for around $9 or $10 dollars for a small tube. I think it is more cost efficient to buy coconut oil for lube then mix high ppm silver into it to create your own anti-STD lube. Health food stores sell 250 ppm silver ointment for around $15 and you want the liquid at room temperature coconut oil (available at Walmart for $7) from the cooking section. Get a small empty bottle that is portable and fill it with the coconut lube and silver mixture. It is like a condom for your skin against viruses, so slather it on then use a non latex condom on top. Afterwards, use soap and water, then reapply the oil mix. Another effective product against bacteria and viruses is Iodine Povidone but it leaves a dark brown stain on the skin unlike silver. Iodine is cheap but bad looking on your skin. I prefer the silver oil mix myself. Looks good and feels good. Like a massage oil.
