I've been through a few bars. Is tropical the one that has a lot of bright blue neon lighting? If so then what you said is true. I've only walked through Tropical. The times I've been there it was never a heavy atmosphere like Adelitas. If anything it was lacking chicas. So I figured it boring and walked out. The girls didn't seem pushy. And while I don't really like that, I guess I've gotten used to it from AB.

i've enjoyed many happy hours (beer 2 for 1 until 7pm) there with buddies. also the chicas can be very fob (fresh) and delightful. heavy into mexican music.

most guys just peep in or walk through the first time but really don't give it a chance. i think they are use to seeing a lot of chicas standing around with bolt ons. the chicas at tropical sit along the side and wait to be offered a drink or dance.

Okay, here's our thread for Tropical Bar.

Tropical Bar is located on Calle Coahuila at the corner of Avenida Niños Héroes. Roughly speaking, it is across from Adelita Bar and Las Chavelas Bar, but a bit further down the street. It is on the first floor of Hotel Rizo de Oro. This is a five story hotel painted pink, so the place is easy to spot.

It is owned by the same folks that own Hotel Las Cascadas, Las Chavelas Bar, Miami Bar, Hong Kong Bar, La Tropa Bar, and Bar Delicias. So you, get the idea. Each place is managed separately and has its own rules and atmosphere.

With the ongoing commercialization of that fuck factory, Adelita Bar, some mongers have suggested that Tropical Bar is a nice change of pace and worthy of your consideration. Let's hear your point of view, reports, and adventures!
