I was wondering, is the Northern Hotel still girl friendly, I. E. You check her in and pay for a second room? I am planning a trip to Saigon in November.

Northern is a good hotel (three stars). The suites have large windows that give a great view of the city. The food is pretty good too. The top floor is another resturant the they don't use (unless things have changed recently). It's nice to go up at night for an open view of the city and some quiet.

When you bring a girl back the manager will check her in, give her a room key and tell her a room number.

All on all a good place to stay, if you don't minsd spending the extra money. Apocalypse is across the street and 2 blocks to the left is Smile's.

During my recent visit to HCM, I stayed in Hotel ROYAL LOTUS on Thi Sach Street, Dist 1. The hotel is ideally located, near to almost everything. Restaurants, Bars, cafe, Massage. All within walking distance.

The hotel web site says that they have SPA and other facilities. However, I found out that they have yet to start them, including a proper bar in the lobby.

Most important, YES, the hotel is Girl Friendly. I brought girls on all the 3 nights I stayed there.

On the first night, I spoke to the Front Desk about my intention of returning with a friend. They asked me to be specific and I said yes. A Girl for the night. No problem, just register her and pay USD 20. Well, so easy? I was surprised. Came back, went to the front desk, she left her I'd there. They did nto ask for any money, we too did not bother to remind them.

While siting in the lobby next day evening, I observed that the guys in lobby area were really not bothered about people going to the rooms. Well, I thought of taking a chance and on next two occasions, came in with the girl and walked straight to the lift. No questions asked.

Well, I was a bit surprised with this but it did work.

The hotel seems to be expensive for the quality of room and service. They charge USD 80 per night.

Despite sign in elevator about no prostitutes or guests allowed, was able to bring in a woman without a problem.

Girl left identification card with desk clerk. Superior $32 (OK room, has window and tub) , with free Wi-fi and breakfast,

Although breakfast caters to its oriental guests and is not really very good if you are a Westerner.

Does anyone knows if Sanouva hotel at D1 is GF?

I see it quoted at $36 per night and given the location near the market I would be surprised if it was not girl friendly.

Thanks for the reply Sudsoz. I had read back quite a bit but didn't see this question asked so I thought I would post it. Looks like its 3 star for me! Hahaha.

Saigon is a little different. There is no red light district as such (although Hai Bai Trung might qualify) and the 5 star hotels are not guest friendly. There is a thread about massage joints and this thread has details of smaller GF hotels if you go back a bit.

Can anyone give some advice on very good massage parlors within walking distance of 5 star hotels? Also a reccomendation on 4/5 star hotels near and red light district would be appreciated. I will be in Saigon at the end of April. Just trying to plan ahead. Thanks in advance

Captown is located on Le Anh Xuan st. Quite upscale for that area and did not look GF. There are 3-4 other hotels opposite on the same st. That are GF. Enjoy!

Will be visiting HCM in early May and came across Captown town near Ben Thanh market in Tripadvisor.

Has anyone stayed there before? Is it girl-friendly?

I still really like the idea of keeping a copy in a. Pdf file on a USB stick. My family now has a softcopy on their computers too in case I lose my travel bag (which has my passport and USB stick).

Well, obviously moving over elsewhere. Where they take the money but not the passport is another strategy.

I too have all my docs scanned in my PC (sometime I even scan the visa page) and a copy is also in my iPod, blackberry and on a yahoo mail. Kind of covering the sudden lack of the hardcopy as a B plan. When going out I carry a photocopy in the wallet and the pass stays in the safe.

Agoda is definitely not the place to stay at. I guess Fast Eddie couldn't' slow down long enough to let you know that Agoda. Com is a WEBSITE for booking hotels, it's not the name of a hotel.

Thanks for the tip on the male personnel at Elegant; I've never needed that particular kind of extra service but it's good to know in a way that it's available if I ever can't find any girls. Probably I would just call it a night and watch some HBO in my room alone instead. But you never know. [wink]

If you are in "emergeny" to find a nice girl. But I prefere to find them myself, but the offer is there.

Let's see if I found any equivilant hotel here before I depart to HCMC.

I stay there for 4 days book with Agoda there customer view is too many Pimp outside the hotel, it is only around the corner of the 5 star Cravelle hotel I stay for one night check out because no WG can be bring into the hotel, Hai Long 5 is GF they will check in girl I'd security will call you when the girl leave pimp offer girl for 40 USD for one hr don't paid upfront and bar 91 is just a few door down asking 100 USD included barfined for ST way too much, the girl the pimp offer is not as hot as the bar 91 girl but service is ok, but over all I think viet girl is lousy in bed compare the other girl in other country in asia sorry for late report been very busy in China, Burma and Thailand, I personally will not go to HMC for just p4p was there on business.
