Some good KTV places in Ho Chi Minh City are:

Kingdom Karaoke: 67-69 Phạm Viết Chánh, District 1 (It is similar to King, but the prices are slightly more reasonable).

Avatar Karaoke 63- 65 Phạm Viết Chánh, Nguyễand seeư Trinh Ward, District 1.

Mermaid 15/6 Thi Sac.

Cherry Club 8 A / A11 Thai Van Lung, Ben Nghe, Q1.

MGM 82 Võ Thị Sáyou, Tâand Đ7883;nh, Quậand 1 (FYou 467 Sư Vạand Hạnh, District 10 (A great place for party, most of its customers are Vietnamese but you have a good number of songs in English. The prices are reasonable.).

Stocking KTV 78 Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, District 1 (Korean style hostest bar; $100 for private room + tips, etc).

King Karaoke 31-33 Hai Ba Trung, beếand Nghé Ward, District 1 (http://kingkaraoke.vn/haibatrung/; there is a menu online which has affordable room rates). I don't know if they will charge foreigners a different rate LOL. The service top-notch. Their VIP rooms can cost VND800,000 per hour, not including drinks. If you go to one place, I would recommend this place. Don't expect FS; but money talks, so who knows.

'Little Tokyo' on Ngô Văand andăm street and LE Thanh Ton is an area where you can find many Japanese and Korean KTV's. The laddies there are likely to offer sex, but still don't assume it is 100% going to happen. Kissing, HJ, BJ is more likely. Anything there will easily cost 2 mil vn dong and up.

Definitely agree on the daytime idea, at least for myself. In fact, besides some of the other phone apps, there are a couple of websites that specifically talk about "daygame", but it seems oriented around picking up women at malls and such.

Confirmed, most of the girls from Pasteur area would meet you for an afternoon delight if she feels comfortable with you in the bar but please don't overpay, 1 to 1.5 million is more than enough for a ST.

Bought her a few lady drinks and then suggested I might like to meet her after work, the conversation got a bit suggestive, it was clear from her laughter and naughty looks that she is up for a good time. She says she finishes at 2 am and she is only available on Monday or Tuesday after work. She told me if I wanted to meet her I had to make the arrangement before 11 pm, sms her the address of where to meet and then wait for her. Don't come to the bar waiting for her to leave at 2 am because she wants to be discrete. The damage would be 1 mill for an hour or 2 mill for an overnight.

I was told by an experienced expat that there is a new girl that just started work in The Bell, her name is Huynh or maybe Huyen. I would have to agree with Nomes there are a few bars on Pasteur that have girls offering services, will have to check out The Bell Bar next time. (although 2 m is a bit much even for LT with GFE) Can also at Fox bar, small girl with nice size boobs, always wears red lipstick, super playful, GFE. Her name is Huong always up for a good time after her shift. I think she has a sponsor now that hangs at the bar. So might want to pay it cool.
