Don't get too excited about bars in HCMC! There are some very cute girls, but if you want the deed done same night-- as I do if I'm going to pay- don't bother. If you're getting contact info for another day, why not just use Viber and dates? Best girls for GF are in HCMC, some of worst P4P also in HCMC.

The cute girls that say "after work. " yea, they can be very cute, and maybe $100 or $120, but if it means 5 AM. Why? Because if weekend, guys in bars are buying them drinks until closing and the bar manager will NOT let them go. 85% or so goes to the bar for drinks.

5 AM? Really? I don't like to f* while drunk / buzzed & before sleep and tired, while the neighbors are making breakfast.

P.S: don't even think about apocalypse now: fake breasts, almost all tired 32+ pros with average or below looks, and charge 1.5 X more than elsewhere. Also, they are so seasoned: they know all the games to play to get your money, quickly.

It's on Hunh Thuc Khang St, Ben Nghe, which is a side street from lower Pasteur in the hostess bar area. Same street as Kims Tavern. There are a few Xu bar around which probably got you confused. There are heaps of bars in the area for a bar hop, so a lot of choices if you get bored with faes in any particular one. Some have fresh faces but most are full of inventory that has been on the scene for a long time, even if they look fresh or cute. HTH.

OK of course I knew about some bars in that area before. My mates took me to some but I can't remember the names. The bars they brought me, it didn't seem like girls were as frisky as you talk about, or if they would go out with customer, or make out in the bar, anything like that. Is that some bars only are like that? Other ones not like that?

I had been off the grid for awhile in a 'partnership' (thank god THAT's over!) , but the of the things that most surprised and intrigued me has been the reports of the Pastuer area bars being more "active".

I used to frequent a few them and always dreamed of this scene turning more "Thai" in customer service.

I also used to be a regular at Gemstone when they opened, because of another spinner hottie, the one with the outrageous ass. She always used to brag about how she was a good girl, and would never go out with customers, and she fancied herself very studious and serious. Flash forward a couple months, and she was found making out with various customers while getting absolutely hammered, butterflying around the bar with several drinks going at a time. That was half year ago maybe, before I got pulled out of circulation. And that's who I thought you guys were talking about at first, until the name Khuyen was mentioned.

So recently I re-appeared in there to scope it out. Met the Kh, but my other friend wasn't around. They said she was still working there though, just 'off'. Khuyen however was very frisky and wanted me to play with her butt, so I can see that the reports of 3-holes might not be complete fantasy! There was also a night last week when I went in, and there was very little staff. Only the plain ones were left LOL. Seemed suspicious, that a couple names I mentioned "went out to eat", but later when they returned, seemed ravenous and were eating in the bar. Connect the dots and seems like there was a big short-time party eh?

They all use stage names but for example Khuyen goes by the name of Jenny most times, and yes she gets wildly drunk. I always check their ID to ensure no scam or problem will follow, a good thing for all players to do. Best time for ST take out in these places is quiet nights on weekdays, or weekend after closing / day after.

So this report is a bit late (from last Febuary), but I'm making another trip to Saigon and was doing a little research for my next trip. So I figured I'd add some info. I stopped in a handful of bars around Pasteur street. I ended up stopping in Cheers Pub (100 Pasteur) while it wasn't busy, and I was waiting to meet some friends. They probably had 6 to 7 girls at the time. A few were lookers, but most were average at 6 PM on a Sunday. I ended up talking to a couple girls in particular and bought them a few drinks. After about an hour one of the girls was already DKF'ing me and asking me to check if her large see cups were real or not. I checked and they were real, LOL. But at first she told me she got her tits in Thailand. She said she was from the Mekong close to Cambodia. You could tell by the darker skin and she had more of a Cambodian girl look to her. But I had to leave to meet several of my friends that were also in town for the same event. I told her that I would be back, even though I wasn't sure that I meant it.

So the first several bars I followed people to in Pahm Ngu Lao weren't cutting it for most of the group. They wanted some more action, so I brought everyone back to Cheers. So to make a long story short; We had a great time drinking there and a lot more girls had shown up to work. I hooked back up with the same girl. I asked her if I could barfine her, as I live in Thailand and wasn't sure if that was a thing in Vietnam. She said that I just had to wait for her to finish work at 3 and she would go with me to my hotel. No talk of money yet. So that's what happened. We grabbed some Pho after she finished work and cabbed back to my hotel in D7. It was girl friendly no problem as they actually offer rooms for hourly rental. The hotel is also next to many massage shops with extras that mainly cater to the Koreans living in Sky Garden in D7. But the nightly rates are around 500,000 dong for nice rooms with laundry service included.

The sex was more of a GFE, but she accepted a good money shot no problem. She was willing to do whatever. We repeated in the morning. Her body was baby free and a good 7. 5 out of 10. I gave her the extra. 5 for nice tits and ass, but a little bit of a belly, only a pinch maybe. Her face was pretty, but in more of an exotic Cambodian girllooking way. She wasn't pretty in the classic standards, but her look really did it for me. She said that she was 29 and I thought she looked maybe younger.

I had to leave the next day and got her a cab. I slipped her 1. 5 and told her it was for cab fare. She never asked me for money. So the same night she wanted to see me again. I was super hungover and didn't want to go out drinking again. I just hung out at my friends house and went back to the hotel to wait for her after work. She came to the hotel at 3 am and did the deed once again right after she cam over, and again in the morning. I left that day back to Bangkok, so she offered to call into work so that she could spend time with me and take me to the airport. I declined because I had to meet with people again that day. I slipped her another 1. 5 as I put her into the taxi again. We still chat a couple times a week, so I'll spend some time with her on my next trip.

I think that all of the bars in this area can be treated the same way. I've read that some of the girls can go out of the bar when it's slow. But it's probably better meet the girls there and make arrangements for outside of her work hours. And it seems like there are no price standards. Each girl is another negotiation, but in my circumstance it was about as easy going and inexpensive as you could wish for with a quality girl. 3 of my other friends also left with girls. The mongering scene is more difficult in Vietnam in comparison to Thailand. But I think that you can find a more genuine experience with the bar girls there. And the quality of bar girls in Vietnam is much better in my experience.

Not found a set rate so far, just negotiate each meet as an individual deal, normally catching up the day after a visit for between two to four hours.

Most of the bars in the area work on the same principle, on a weekday night you can get them out for ST if not busy, otherwise it is a next day meet up. Typically in the afternoon after they sleep off their hangovers.

Well I finally got to try Khuyen from Gemstone on Saturday afternoon, and she really wasn't what I expected, in a starfish sort of way and later chased the dragon to get artificial energy. Says she uses the excuse visiting her kid in the afternoon, so her other half can't argue with her sideline work. Stung 4 million.

She was all hellfire later in the night when I dropped by the bar and she was getting a bit too close to a punter who was with his Chinese girlfriend. The Chinese girl attacked little Khuyen and a catfight ensued, and ended up Khuyen kicked her ass pretty bad but ended up all scratched up too. These places do provide more entertainment than expected, buy a beer and watch a cat fight so might drop by again tonight and look if there will be round 2, or at least see the scratches and bruises. Wonder what will happen next weekend around the traps to top this! I love Saigon.

Actually that list is pretty out of date now. There was a major clampdown on these places last week, and 4 of the main bars were shut down (35, 37, 49, 51) and the rest are in rough shape. I went around to check out a few bars tonight. If a bar usually had 15 girls, now it has 3. And it's not the pretty young ones. They seem to have been ordered to take away the darkened glass they usually have on the front, and also to keep the lights up bright, and the girls to dress in much less sexy outfits. Some bars went with ao dais, others with dresses. It was so bad, even at 91 there wasn't a single one I was interested in sitting with. If it stays like this long term, could be the end of this scene. Seriously, for anyone coming to town, unless things change, my earlier post about these bars no longer applies. These places are not worth visiting right now, you're sure to be disappointed. Hope they bounce back.

Where is Bar 35? I've been researching back in history and I heard someone mention a great time there. I found this place but I don't know if it's the same place because it's a club? I'd like to have a place where I can get the service at the bar and not have to waste time going elsewhere.

Bar Update.

Yes Infinity and Woo is the same place. Boring as hell now, all the good girls have gone and left the dregs!

'The Pub' has changed owners recently and the food is terrible now. Don't order the Seafood Pizza unless you want a grease ridden meal. Watch out for a girl called Sunny, very tactile, but a real gold digger!

A couple of newbie (to Vietnam) questions:

When you all take out a girl out of a place like Gemstones, does she take you to a ST hotel nearby? What limited experience I have in Vietnam always worked like that. But, they took me in a cab and that always makes me nervous. In BKK you can almost always walk to a nearby ST hotel. Anyways, I know it's not a great idea to bring girls back to the room, so how does this usually work?

Also: what time do these places start to get going with working girls? I am in town to work, so I can't really stay up too late. In most cities, I try to arrange a sure thing and be back in my hotel sleeping alone by 10!

I am still looking for that primo agency in HCMC that provides top girls who are well behaved, at a premium price. Every city has one, but maybe HCMC is the exception. I am lazy and have a big budget for this kind of fun, so mostly just want to have an easy time.

It's normal to taxi to the hotel because hotels are usually not walking distance from the bar. Don't worry. If you want them to go to your room they surely would be OK with that, or if you want ST hotel instead of course they will do that. Those girls usually start 7 pm to 8 pm, maybe later sometimes.

I don't know that high end service but I hear they exist.
