i was feeling bored so i went to 91 hbt for a bit of fun, not necessarily for some sex. again plenty of hot girls. i chose a tam. could be the same one nice assets she had, 20 yrsa old. reckons she is saigonese and lives with parents, and her mom picks her up from work so can only go short time, didn't get much groping and she kinda turned sour when i tried to get a few kisses and a feel of what i was hgonna get. not sure how it works in otehr bars but no make out session for me. i suppose a session at ythe bar is only 150-200k for them, but if they get a st or 2 thats 1 mill each time so they not keen on long sessions in the bar as that not where the money is. but definately unless you lucky no make out or much sexual contact ie no hand up dress es unless you borderline [CodeWord126]. i tried also saigon ny and apple bar. not very attractive girls there.

this all sounds very strange. someone posted awhile back about some rumor going around of some vk taking a girl out of some bar and then leading her into a gang [CodeWord123] situation at the hotel -- but it was described as possibly just rumor. who knows. i know that bar in particular is especially popular with east asians (japanese, korean, taiwan, singapore) and so the girls are even friendlier with those than with whites. anyway, i tend to think you're jsut the victim of some overzealous profiling. and one more thing: one recent time i visited 91, i got a very cute girl who i picked out, she came upstairs with me (her idea) and then immediately sat on a separate stool a few feet away -- not exactly cozy. next visit, as soon as i spotted her, she made a frowny face -- in other words, i'm not her type. on other visits in the past i've gotten the opposite treatment from other girls. so i guess i'm saying, for myself it's case by case. luck. sometimes it's just beyond your control. go often enough and eventually you'll end up on the lucky side of the coin. also, since 91 tends to have the hottest/youngest girls, they also tend to be (in general) the most spoiled group of girls, and have (in general) worse attitudes and or are less likely to make things especially enjoyable there in the bar. for example, a great makeout session. and i keep saying "in general" because i've experienced some of the best attitudes and enjoyment in that bar as well. if you're really lucky, you'll go there and end up with the brand new, unspoiled very young inexperienced super hot girl who's a bit shy but also very eager to please. worth a visit, i say.

reading mutant's post -- in these bars, you're much more likely to enjoy your time in the bar more thoroughly, so to speak (see above), if you are alone and not with a group of buddies. inhibitions melt away when nobody's around to watch. about pricing -- it's possible to bargain them down a bit. 91 started doing 400k drinks fee this past year, it's always been 300 max until now. and other bars normally want just 300k. too bad you didn't get the 'warmup' time with your girl (it doesn't sound like you did) because that's the best feature of these places. i try to avoid the whole group of boys playing billiards thing. if i want to play billiards, i go play billiards. if i want to go grope a girl, i go do that. doing both at once is to do neither. but the main feature of these places is getting to pick a girl from a lineup of hotties, then having that girl do her best to get you going, knowing it's going to cost you just a few ladys' drinks plus her tip. i never give more than 200k tip for even the best long session with a girl there -- and if there's some place else in town that offers that sort of thing, i'd sure like to hear about it. but once you're at the point of having had your session, if you want you can take her out. you've already bought some of the drinks for her (probably around 3-4 if you've had a good time) so thats' just another 200k to take her out. and deduct her tip from the 1 mil st, since you need to tip her anyway, that's 800k then to go the rest of the way. total of 1 mil more, or a bit more than $50 us. so at that point, look at your girl and ask yourself if finishing this is worth $50 more to you. one thign i will say, these 91 girls do tend to be good once they're back at the hotel. showering together is pretty standard, for example. vastly better attitude than, say, the motorbike girls. (as i type that, i have had occassional excellent bike girls and duds from the hbt bars -- but in general, hbt bars much better).

Well honestly I don't know what is up with your story as I'm also viet kieu but I'm Chinese viet. The girl gave me her number and she offered a deal where she would come to my place so I didn't encounter any prejudice.

We played pool for a few hrs. Got charged 2 lady drinks =100k and on offer was $60 ST or 100 Lt then add on 400k for bar fine. As my friends didn't take up the offer they tipped the girls 100k for their time. Which is comparable to a hostess fee at a night club only beers are 40k instead of 70k. Worth the visit if you just want a girl company. The ST rate of 1.5 mill total price is a bit expensive better to stay overnight.

If its the little bar in the middle of the block which has Thien Loc on the corner, that's definitely 35. I didn't realize that place had a tv. There actually is one looker in that place, or was a couple weeks ago when I was there. She used to work at Thien Loc, for a long time. But aside from her, the description is pretty accurate. This place rarely has anything great on offer. 91 is the class of this area.

Can't really compare prices to street girls -- it's a different scene. Here you pay for being able to sit in a downtown bar, have a line up to choose from (some places better than others, of course), chill out, have some drinks and get to 'know' the girl (and I don't mean finding out how many brothers and sisters she has). A lot of these places are a lot more 'comfortable' in an upstairs or back room. And you have a pretty good idea the girl you're with hasn't done 6 customers before you tonight.

I'm not knocking the other choices, just pointing out some of the factors that come into it. Me, I like a bit of warmup hanky panky time before the deed. That doesn't happen with a lot of the other options available. You know, the girl actively trying to do whatever it takes to get you turned on. I'm not a big fan of the Suffragette City style. But that's me.

I think that's 35. Bar 35 and 49 have the same management. I know they're having trouble getting girls to work in 35.

I stopped in at 31 HBT the other night. A sorry place that is. Terrible dingy atmosphere, smoky (from the girls), Vietnamese comedy on TV, 10 or so mostly sullen, poorly painted girls busy with their cigs and text messages. Seven of the ten belong on the ugly girl corner of NCT where they would be lucky to get taken for 150k. The three others, ok but nothing special. Started spouting silly numbers like $40 and $60 and $100 (BJ, 1 Hr, Over Night). Then started begging me for a drink like the armless or legless do on the streets, then just said 'ten thousand for me, ok.' I finished up my 30k San Miguel and headed out.

Arrived to Saigon yeasterday and after reading in this thread about Smiley's I went with a motorbiketaxi from Q1 and my backpacker hotel. The owner an old lady told my no girl up to room. I sad, what? I cant bring my 2 long year girl friend up to the room? I change hotel tomorrow I sad. Then she say, if she is Vietnamese she must have passport. No GF hotel huh? Ti Ti is the name, 14$ night with free real good Wifi.

Anyway, I head over to Smiley's but first took a pizza close to the bar. On Sundays the have "one free" for every pizza you buy. So I eat one and took one with me to the Smiley's. The girls was very happy for that. I went to this place because I read about the big boobs that should be here, did not find any real big, but pretty girls. 2-3 was minimum 8 in my book.

The girl that was standing with me had a superbody, thin, but with a nice round but. Not "bonebut" many thin girls can have. I gave her 2 LD for 50k each when she was with me. She say, If I want BJ its upstairs and FS is on hotel. I say I cant take you to hotel but the mamasan or who she was behind the bar sad that I just have to give the doorman/lady 100.000 Dong as a bride. The place is quite nice and the girls attractive and friendly however, whilst it wasn't a bad experience, I'd also say that it wasn't great as it wasn't value for money.

Yes Chicken, I agree. 2.5 million Dong for 5 guys with 12 beers total (208,000 Dong per beer, the only thing you received with any value), no sex, no groping, no contacts, isn't very good value for money, I think we would all agree, except maybe the most hardcore Karaoke Singing lover.

I've been to bia om places several times with the locals. The expected tip was only 100k for each girl and the same for the mamasan. Plenty of groping went on even while others such as the Mamasan and waiter were in the room. It seemed to be expected. Beers cost 20k each. It's not uncommon for the mamasan to keep coming in the room to help herself to beer. As a foreigner, I wouldn't want to go alone to such places for fear of the bill being greatly inflated.
