At medical documentation to get into BKK? . I have never heard of this drequirement for medical documents -- unless you are coming from a West African country where Ebola is a problem, ?

The medical requirement is for passport holders of most African countries and a few South American countries. Its for yellow fever, Nile fever and a few others. A simple UN Medical clearance card indicating vaccinations for these gets you past customs. I recently took my African lady to BKK. Its a 5 minute form filling exercise. What flight on, what seat (they check boarding passes) and that's it.

If a person who requires such a card presents himself in the airport sans card he will be required to be quarantined for a few days.

I've been RTFF and saw some posts about medical documentation to get into BKK? Can someone explain what this is? I don't want to get to the airport and get turned away from entry into BKK.

If you are from the USA or most European counties, you will gain entry for up to 30 days without a visa. There is a website that explains entry requirements.

I think I'll go to Sukhumvit and visit some places at Nana Plaza (people said good things about Rainbows 4 and Jail Birdz) and have a Nuru massage at Dr BJ. I've never had a Nuru so it would be interesting.

Since you don't have time to waste, I would recommend them. In short, they take you through the diplomatic lines both ways. Sometimes, passport control has long lines, sometimes they don't. They can even pick you up in an electric cart after you depart the airplane. I use them most times I go to BKK.

If you go to Dr. BJ's, I recommend see and let her pick a friend. She could make a sailor blush and knows how to suck a dick.

The biggest thing for you, is you don't have time to waste. So you need to plan things out carefully.

Given your short stay, you may want to pay for expedited passport control both entering and leaving which could (depends on the lines) save you 1 - 2 hours easily. You can jump a taxi at the official taxi stands to Sukh. Rd. For about 350 - 450 bhat. You can use an ATM to get money or just change money at the airport.

Ummm, no offense to your friend, but Silom (while not horrible) is not at all the place to go. I don't think your friend knows much about BKK. For a newbie, you probably want to head to Sukhumvit Rd. Around Nana Skytrain station unless you are after something quite specific (e. G. , high end soapie, then go to Ratchadipisek Rd. There are endless possibilities to spend your 7 - 8 hours in BKK in and around Sukh. Road.
