When you live in Thailand you get used to it. You also become much wiser on what your body can tolerate and adjust your schedule accordingly. You also don't necessarily feel like you have to go out every single afternoon and become like a Thai girl sleeping all day and popping out after 7 pm.

Like others have said it depends where you are coming from. In January I came from Japan where it was abnormally cold at minus 10 Celsius. I arrived in Bangkok during a mini heat wave when it was 40 Celsius. It was a bit of a shock to the system standing in the hot sun at 1 pm for well over 30 minutes waiting in line for a viral restaurant.

BKK feels hotter than Pattaya because Pattaya has some wind being a beach.

The hardest part of living here for me was the weather coming from a cool climate I've adjusted well living daily averaging 32-35 I don't pay too much attention any longer even in many situations get by with a fan or two.

Pattaya as advertised is HOT HOT, HOT AND HUMID AND HOT AND WET that is year-round weather there is NO 3 or 4 seasons. I just returned from up North Sukhothai, a very rural and isolated wife farm average of 40-45 daily and it is HOT no matter how you look at it. You wake up early and sleep early all one thinks about is showering and jamming ourselves into the A / see room. This is no breeze one walks out of the shade one feels like an egg being fried. With Songkran, the officials slow down the taps during the day so one has to learn a process to save in your bathroom large buckets of water so you can shower and use the bathroom by scooping. Can't even do laundry during the day not enough water.

I can imagine reports of Bangkok, 50 if true, back in Pattaya now yesterday aside from the bottleneck of traffic near Pattaya Nua, and Hwy 7, under-construction traffic is down from Thais they don't even want to go out! My cousin who lives and works in Las Vegas is here and he says it is hot and he knows hot LOL.

I'm lucky, I have a huge saltwater pool in a garden and a wonderful breeze filled apartment but I just put the AC on. I got an actual temp of 42 C and a feels like 45 C and it was too hot even in the pool. Ill pay the $4 to run my ac today. ID love to head to Bangkok, but that's like going from the frying pan into the fire.

Anyways, can somebody tell me if 2. 5 km in 8 minutes any good? I am not an active runner, but jog just now and then to keep my cardio up.

That's pretty good especially if you only jogging. The last 5 k I joined the top finisher that I figure was running was going at slower pace then you 5 k in 17 min. You should compete and make some money.

LoveitHere is a punk who comes to Pattaya for (two weeks) and only goes to Beach Road and Soi 6. Afraid of his own shadow on Soi 6. Could not even make a decision when offered a good deal on Soi 6. Then after I post up about KINK, he has the nerve to complain about my report. But now has nothing to say about other reports that do not mention prices.

I taxied it to Maggie Mays yesterday, and was surprised to see yet another cousin of Honey / Cindy / Plai working there (the ladies from Laos). Looking around Soi Pothole, it wasn't quiet, still plenty of customers.
