"Family Friendly" is subject to differing interpretations. Going back to the early 2000's, Soi 11 was not known as budding redlight district. Efforts were even trending to clean up the Soi when they closed up the massage operations next to the old Villa Market site. Tearing down the old buildings around the Cheap Charlie's Bar was supposed to gentrify the Soi. However, for what ever reasons, the construction ran in to problems and what arose from the location was a mish match of beer bars and restaurants with alot of women thrown in.

In the early 2000's Soi 11 was nothing except Cheap Charlie's and a few restaurants. It was actually very lively in the late 00's and the early 10's with the van bars. Quite fun. The clubs that opened on 11 were always full of working girls. The "clean up" post 2014 did change the Soi although the clubs were still packed with p4 p gals. Covid pretty much decimated the Soi and what has returned including the type of tourists you see in the area leaves a lot to be desired.

" After the shops closed, say about 9:00 pm or so, the street was lined with working girls and about the only foot traffic was men who were looking to meet them. At that time the sidewalk market ended at soi 11. There were also no street bars. It was charmingly sleazy. Of course now I don't find anything particularly charming about it, but not being family-friendly? Do you expect it to be family friendly? Maybe there are some places on the planet that should actually be for adults.

Heard similar last year, and when I went, prices were pretty absurdly high compared to the US, but people from UK and other places don't see it the same way as people who lived or went to places in the US with legal weed that its very cheap in the US, thailand was insane high. Most of last year the weed and edibles they said was imported mostly from California, as Thailand didn't really have much production and the sellers in the tourist areas wouldn't be getting it first anyways. They thought prices would come down but no one really knows because its selling at this price, so they may just get a better markup. Also be aware, a lot of pre-rolls and such in thailand will be weed mixed with tobacco. Heavy on the tobacco.

'Muricans and Canadians are spoiled with weed prices. Now think about being Japanese or Korean, would you object to $30 baht a gram weed if it calls for death in your own country LOL.

I saw a group of Japanese in the Nana beergarden last night. They were oooohing and ahhhing as they ground their gram and rolled a joint, like I remember the boys doing when I started smoking as a teenager in the 60's. It was a cool ritual then, now I just stuff the pipe. Meanwhile, some Japanese youngster rolls a joint and they all applaud and say Banzai.

Re the warning on pre rolls: if you are a real stoner, pass.

Finally returned to Bangkok after a week in Pattaya and I got to say I almost forgot how much prettier the girls are in Bangkok vs Pattaya. Not to say there isn't anything worth fucking in Pattaya, but it doesn't have the same quality and variety. Many pretty girls in Nana today. I think most of the places I went into I saw many 7's, a couple of 8's and overall not many girls below a 6. Which to me that means I would gladly fuck anyone of them without regretting it. Bar fines are reasonable too at 700ST and 1000 LT. I didn't really take any girl home so I don't actually know how much they are asking for. Thermae had many hot girls too. One quoted me 2. 5 k and a couple quoted me 3 k. My preference are the massage parlors which I plan on visiting tomorrow once I get some rest after the long bus ride from Pattaya.

The new beer bars and street walkers have transformed Soi 11 to Nana Plaza. There is a huge contingent of ladyboy street walkers that all the local Thais have commented on to me. Also, the cannabis dealers are openly selling out of small truck and is even has a retail location in my hotel.

What was once a nice Soi for families and normal folks has been transformed in to a cross of Nana and Cowboy that has made this Soi now unacceptable for normal folks.

In your "massage" options, what does the price include? E,g for AVA, the deluxe option is 3500 for 90 minutes. What can I expect in this price? Thats close to $150 so hoping it better be good.

I had the Nuru which I think was 3 k. The deluxe option is simply a massage and sex without the Nuru for 90 minutes. If you've never experienced Nuru then I'd definitely try that as with the right girl its pretty amazing. Basically you shower with the girl where she will clean you up (you can participate in some mutual touching / groping at this stage) and then she will take out the rubber table thing and get you to lie down, and rub the nuru gel all over you and herself. Never visited Crazy Horse (bar located off cowboy) and neither tried due to this bar having an issue with certain backgrounds etc. Although I'the be interested to know if others similar to me have had any issues?

Once I had the doorman gave me the bad look and tell me the place is "Heea free" (in Thai), which meant "don't misbehave inside". I've been in that place a couple of times, each time it was shit, I don't get it why the place is always packed.

Went there once pre-covid, thought that I would go with the flow and I would negotiate with the girl upstairs but was a complete waste of time, she wanted 3000 baht for 1 hour on top of the 500 baht for the "regular massage" and would offer only 1 shot. When I refused the deal she kept saying some bullshit like she was losing money because she has to pay the shop each time she goes up with a customer.

The place is very pricey for girls all over 30 or even 40, I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.

As most people know, medical marijuana is legal in Thailand. You don't need a prescription to buy. It's everywhere around the tourist areas (Nana, Soi Cowboy, Khoa Sanh Road).

Prices are ridiculously high. Decent will be from 350-1100 baht per gram! Fucking expensive! 350 is outdoor, somewhat covered, not that tight. 800-900 is normal chronic bud. 1100 looks very good, super covered. You also see, mainly on the street, brick weed, from 80-100 per gram. But quality is poor. Several years ago, that stuff was $1 per gram in Cambodia.

That 350 stuff, I can get in California for about $5 per gram. The 800-900 is about $10-15 in CA. I can get the 1100 per gram stuff for about $50 per eighth (3.5 grams) in the CA. Every time I bought the expensive stuff, I got pissed off for being way too expensive.

A lot of the strains you buy are starting to be produced in Thailand.

I spoke with an American working the marijuana scene. He said the marijuana shops has to charge a lot because the indoor farms charges a lot, and also due to high taxes. He "said" that his clinic only makes, after taxes, about 200 per gram. He said he expects prices to drop substantially in about a year, after all the investors gets paid.

Just some information to help my fellow bros on what I do in Bangkok and my game plan for getting action. I am born and brought up in London although of Indian / Arab background, mid 30's, and I tend to visit BKK around 2 or 3 times a year and have been doing this for around 7 to 8 years.

In summary I would say there is still ample opportunity to get action in Bangkok with hot girls. Yes, it's a little bit pricier and there are less girls around than before but you just have to work a little bit harder now to get that action in comparison to pre-covid. Challenge accepted! Bring on May!

I was wanted to pass Cherry, Unfortunate is close now, maybe it will open again. I was having BB number and found her at Momoya Massage.

I phoned Cherry recently and the mamasan / receptionist said the Cherry shop on Soi 24/1 was closed for renovation and that the girls were working out of Momoya Massage.

I asked who was available and was given 6 names of which I recognized three who were of interest from the Cherry line up. She told me to go to Soi 26 and look for a Dream Heaven Massage sign and then turn down that side street and when I walked down there I would see Momoya and the girl would be waiting.
