A few years ago, I went with my friend to a club with a "Japanese Only" sign, then my friend spoke in broken Japanese, the mms promptly turned the sign over and let us in.

Japanese used to have much larger presence and many have company expense accounts to pay for entertainment. Most of these clubs are Japanese style clubs to make themselves feel like home I guess. They are owned by Japanese or by their mistresses. Japanese companies have been moving manufacturing to other countries. Because the reduce business the club ownership also have changed. Many now will accept foreigners, mainly Asian probably, and frequently they will ask which countries you are from first. Most the ground floor ones will accept customers based on certain profile, it is not entirely by race because you can see the same race from one country is accepted but is rejected when the customer is from another country even both countries speak the same language.

There are various types of clubs. Some are membership only. Not all clubs allow sex or take out so you need to check in advance. You can usually get the girls by hour like 1000 be / HR which will include some drinks. If you want a place to chat and sing with a girl without pressure, these clubs are good for that.

It's my first writing here. According to me it's not exactly racial discrimination, it looks more like face control trying to differentiate spender from only watchers. Last week I was in Bangkok, Tuesday at around 12 am I headed to Crazy House, I'm 40, Caucasian, at the entrance there were bunch of young Chinese guys trying to enter and the guard told them 100 baht each entrance fee, they paid, I was next I have the 100 baht note ready in my hand, I said "Sawatdee krup, how it's going", the guard looked at me, asked "where do you come from?" I said "Bulgaria", he said "welcome, have a nice time" and opened the curtain, doesn't even look at my 100 baht note, which still was in my hand ready. I spend inside around 800 baht (few Jameson+soda & lady drink) and after an hour left. Meanwhile the same Chinese guys still have their first and only breezers. (So I took one chair and left more than them taking 5 chairs) On my way out the guard was collecting the 100 baht notes from a bunch of young polish guys.

Well, I think this is fare policy, these are a Night Bars, not a charity organization, they work for a profit. In my country every venue like this has 200 baht entrance fee and the prices inside are the same. It's not normal to go inside, spend €3.5 on a beer and watch naked women all night. Even internet porn is more expensive.

What bothers me is that with tipping you are fucking up the scene. In March 2017 I visited Bangkok for first time and never heard the word "tip". This year I already heard it everywhere, even the girl in Crazy House, to which I bought the lady drink, which actually was the double one (tequila & coke, but I liked her and I was aware of the fact it's double) asked for a tip. Sure I didn't give her.

What is a tip? A reward given for additional services which are not included in the price! (Cab driver rounds the bill, they don't have usually enough small money, waiter-usually his services are included in the price, but when he / she adds sth from themselves and make you feel better, sure a tip.).

Why shall I tip the stripper, when I pay the lady drink or at Magic table after the BJ. They didn't add anything additionally to make me tip. You ask for a service, they tell you the price and it's done, when they include sth. Extra for e. G. Rim job or sth. Else, then it's different. I tipped the waitress, she called the girl, stays next to me, as soon as I raised my eyes she asked me whether I needed sth. This is additional service.

Problem with the free tips you are giving is that next year they'll be included, this year I paid 1200 for a BJ when I give 100 tip, next year for sure the BJ will be 1300. When you see that everybody covers you ask price and gives you even more it's normal next time to raise you ask price. It's simple economy. And you'll come back to complain in the forums how the things were different 10 years ago. (Never seen these dream times BTW.

Japan guys have already spoiled their scene. I agree to MonkeyPaw's post, I'm also sure, when you spend like Japanese guy, you won't be denied entrance in their places.

This probably is not discrimination. It may just be that they don't want to do business with people who can't speak Japanese to avoid misunderstanding or bad services. If you speak to them in Japanese, very likely they will welcome you in.

I have walked past these places many times and never felt denied anything or missing much particularly worthwhile of a sexual nature by not being a member of the chosen ethnic group allowed to spend their money there.

Exactly, I thought it was interesting to watch, and I'm glad I got to see it as part of my BKK experience but I don't feel in any way as if I was denied or missed anything. If anything I felt like I avoiding something I would have later regretted.

Goatscrot, I believe you have had Japanese friends or acquaintances on holiday in Bangkok who have tried those Thaniya Road or other such venues, no? I have. I've been introduced to them or met them on my rounds and we hung out together 2-3 nights. I asked how the action is in those places and they just wince and shrug like it was no big deal. I don't think they were sparing my feelings for "missing out" on some fantastic P4P sexual nirvana due to my unfortunate ethnic origins. LOL. And they never broke away from hanging around with me, learning tips on getting the best out of girls in the go-go bars we visited, in order to return to one of those Thaniya Road type venues for something supposedly better than what they found was possible in the regular go-go bars in Nana Plaza or Soi Cowboy.

My point in my previous post is a variation of that sentiment. From what I hear about these Japanese/Asian Only venues or even the fishbowl establishments that prefer that clientele and require a Farang surcharge, it is covered everything, very little if any likelihood of a genuine oral finish and more about being alone with a pretty, young girl than engaging in what for many of us qualifies as real sex.

For those of us, such as myself, who define sex to be skin on skin contact that culminates with cumming inside a female oriface rather than inside a barrier, the offerings at these kinds of places sound like little more actual sexual activity than getting a haircut or a foot massage. Which also accounts for the numbers and profile of the providers who apply for the job, imo. We're talking about easy money here that in the vast majority of cases might not even be regarded as "sex" for money by the little ladies going through the motions.
