I have been to both Nana plaza and soi cowboy, but can anyone suggest a fun great gogo bar / strip club in Bangkok? I have been to the all the bars in nana plaza and I notice that most people they sit down, look at the girls or chat with them.

What I am really looking for is a strip bar where the girls girls give lap dances, sitnob your lap, etc.

I know YMMV but I looking for somewhere there is a party feel rather than everyone sitting looking at the girls and doing nothing.

From my observation and experience, the Nana Plaza go-go bars that currently come closest to what you described would be Enter and Butterflies, both on the top floor of the plaza. Quality of the line ups will vary from night to night, hour to hour.

You can also get plenty of lap dances and body-to-body interaction with girls on the second level of Crazy House, Soi 23 around the corner from Soi Cowboy. However, the quality of the girls up there is generally low, perhaps a deeply flawed but still acceptable diamond in the rough shows up every now and then. Beware, the Lady Drink Only hustle is quite heavy in this bar so you will need to time those lap dances properly in relation to the Lady Drinks you purchase.

Nana and Cowboy gogo bars are quite boring. As RL says, Patpong is more fun. For the most girls try King's Castle 1 and 2. Other fun bars but much fewer girls Black Pagoda is hit and miss, Badabing girls are at least friendly. And Pink Panther can be ok on certain nights. If you want any entertainment in a gogo bar, you need to come to Pattaya. However, most of the really high mileage gogo bars in Pattaya don't have many girls up to my standards.

How anybody found this hole in the wall is a mystery to me. Getting there from Sukhumvit is a hazzle in itself. MRT blue line to last station Tao Poon (12 stops from Asoke), then upstairs to purple line for another 6 stops to Bang Krasor. Get off on the east side, train is heading north, it's then about 50 meters down the left side of soi 24 which is beside the station. The entrance and reception make it almost appear it's an abandoned shop but the actual massage room and shower area are decent enough.

Now as somebody noted nobody speaks English and the menu is almost entirely in Thai so it's difficult to know what's on offer. I paid 1000 which was the cheapest 60 minute package available.

It unfortunately turned out to be the lamest excuse for an oil massage I have had in this town bar none. My back and legs were massaged for about 40 minutes and when I turned over I was toweled up and given a head massage for another 20 minutes. Then it was over. Not one time was there a hint or a semblance of an erotic massage. The girl was pleasant and friendly but obviously inexperienced.

I didn't make a fuss, I was in a good mood that day, the markets were up but obviously something had gone terribly wrong and I had no idea what it was. I love a sensual massage, slow hands with an easy touch that's why I went there but sadly something got lost in translation.

I may have gone to the wrong place but the location checked out and there was a sign on the door saying Nalin massage. That said the pics on their website of the interiors didn't match.

If anybody is thinking of making the trek I suggest you make an effort to communicate on what you can expect however difficult that may be before committing.

Incidentally the cup of hot ginger tea on the way out was good if a tad expensive.

How come you couldn't find, use Google type Nalin spa, the first option. The website is in Thai and you need google translate if you can not read Thai and the staff there including Khun Nalin can't speak English so you need to speak basic Thai to communicate or there might be misunderstandings. Google maps will help you to locate the area, just need to do some research with patience.

I think that depends a bit on your location and other things. Where I'm googling from, the "nalin spa" you talk about is neither on the first page nor the second, so give the guy a break.

Should you have a better url, and even better, a phone number too, that would be appreciated. Your description of it sounds interesting, but it's quite far out in no-mans land, so I'd be hesitant to spend the time to go all the way out there only to find out they're closed or busy when I arrive.

Very few compared with 2-3 months ago. Most nights I could count all of them I see from Sukhumvit and Asok to all the way down Soi 4 past Hillary 1 on the fingers of one hand, including in front of Thermae. A few might be hiding deep inside a couple of side sois along the way.
