BTW, still weigh exactly the same as I did then and probably in even better shape.

I think it is an assumption that frequent visitors are more desperate or have lower expectations than residents. There is no empirical evidence to this. As for paying more, naturally frequent visitors value their time more than the money they will fork out and hence are likely to pay more.

I envy you so much, 20 years back Thailand was paradise. And I am fortunate enough to have partaken during that golden era, although not as much as I did later in my life, as money came more easily and travel become more frequent. But for me, it still is a paradise, maybe a bit lesser than before but still so much better than some other places. LOL.

The price will include a bar fine (upward of 600 baht) and the girl's fees (short time or long time), which varies among bars and also according to your negotiation skills. I have not been in BKK for a bit. So my guess is short time (1 hour) will be at least 2000 baht and long term upward of 3000 baht. Short term is usually one hour with one shot unless you negotiate; long time will be a few hours with at least a couple of shots. Some of them try to sneak out in 2-3 hours. Just watch out. You have a choice of taking her to a short time hotel or to your own hotel. Hope that helps!
