Bangkok Reports

After a few abortive attempts, I'm headed back to Asia landing in Bangkok on January 21 and heading straight for Sukhumvit. About two years ago I was planning a one hundred day holiday. But life got in the way. As a stop-gap measure, I gave Sousa in the DR a go (and found it to be a huge disappointment), and then spent a week in Rio (which was awesome weather-wise, girl-wise and venue-wise) . But Thailand continued to call out to me. Pattaya in particular. So I'll be landing in Bangkok on the 21st and leaving 73 days later on April 4th. In between, I plan to hit Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Cambodia, but the majority of my time will be spent in Thailand. Been twice, both times for a month: the second time I spent the whole time in Pattaya (search 28 Days for the blow-by-blow). Now the plan is to arrive Bangkok at 9:20 pm (after a 25 hour flight from Canada), hit Dr BJs by 11:00 pm, then troll either the Beer Garden or Thermae for some overnight freelance company. Next day, I am tempted to venture into Bangkok's Chinatown in search of a really raw experience (and would welcome any suggestions from members) . Or I might just content myself with a soapy massage, followed by some more late night trolling in the Beer Garden and / or Thermae. The day after that I am planning to hop a flight to Udon Thani for about a week (if I like it, or less, if Pattaya calls out to me). Any thoughts?

73 days in Asia at 62 years of age. It is going to be epic!

I don't wish to get into another pissing contest so soon after the last brouhaha that I was involved in over in the Pattaya thread, 555, but as an interested and yet objective 3rd party, I thought I would just say that I have found the Jakarta thread to be a very informative place populated by a pretty good bunch of very knowlegeable guys. I still consider myself a relative newcomer to Jakarta. My next visit will be only my 4th in as many years and I am still learning my way around that large megalopolis. But I have always been treated very well over in the Jakarta forum and the resident BM's there have been very friendly and have freely given me a hell of a lot of usefull information. Hopefully I have paid it forward in some small way with my own Jakarta trip reports. So IMHO, the Jakarta forum is one of the best on the ISG. Case closed. End of story.

Looks LB like. No wrong, perhaps that would be too much of a compliment (to some). She is not as pretty as many LBs.

To say she is not as pretty as most LBs is not an insult by any means. The best looking girls in Thailand are LBs. Haha. My theory is that if the girl is drop dead gorgeous, she must be a lady boy. It's safer to stick with the plain Jane's.

Oh, thank god. I hate to think I risked getting run over by a bus trying to make wide circles around those families of shoppers on Sukhumvit's sidewalks all for a junkie watch.

Last night would have been January 2nd. Many people in Thailand are on a New Years Day break / holiday until January 4th or 5th. Probably some Coyotes, bargirls, even freelancers as well. Some shops and small restaurants were still closed as of today, January 3rd. I guess NYD is a much bigger holiday here in Thailand than it is in the USA or other countries.

The street shopping area might also have been skimpier than usual because of the New Years Day holiday, but many of those street shops on Sukhumvit have had to either move to other areas or reduce the size of their operation to cling as close as possible to the walls and fences because a new law forbids them from blocking the walkway or sidewalk now. Don't think that had anything to do with the King's death, just that those shops had inched their way toward each other on either side of the sidewalk until it was so bottlenecked nobody could get past a single shopper deciding whether to go with the fake watch that would surely croak before the week was over or the lousy power pack that wouldn't survive more than three electrical charges.

Some of those fake watches work fine. I bought a couple of them that have lasted over 5 years.

I did not really mean to start something here. I thought I was trying to hose it off, cool it down. Not sure anyone noticed BKKDog or Smoothy being so obnoxious, other than yourself. Maybe strong opinions disagreeing with someone at times. Never heard of Ko.

Look all of us have to cop a bit of disagreement and smart ass comments at times. I even disagree strongly with my buddies at times. No big deal.

Last night I noticed that there are much less girls outside the bars especially the bars that had the set types in front. None were out. Guessing the city is changing after the King is gone. The street shopping area near Soi 4 also seemed to be almost completely missing. There were big crowds and even Baccara was holding the curtain open and inviting people without having to join as in the past. Just wondering if this is a crack down or just a change. Also there were police sitting at tables near both entrances which I have never seen in this area before. Some cute girls dancing AfterSkool who were a lot of fun for the price of a drink. Tit was the name of one girl who was very hands on. Lots of fun.

Would make much more sense if you guys open your own fight thread and decide whether use guns or swords at dawn (you can set dusk if that is more convenient to you) and settle it there.

So that a moderator can clean this thread (still called "Bangkok reports") from all this flaming and reciprocal accusations or bragging who has the longest prick, pardon me, the more posts.

Both are of no interest here. Main interest here is about Bangkok shagging opportunities.

I do have around 10,000 posts on another board and did win a monetary award there once for posting the best guide of the year. I was later asked to be a moderator there and did this for a few years while continuing to post numerous guides and trip reports. As to where my reports of distinction are here, frankly and truthfully I see your posts, Smoothy's, and Ko's, and the environment you guys create really acts as a de-motivator to post much here. I am not the only one who has reacted this way.

You just told Syggies that you didn't like his tone and asked if him he understands English but you were not going after him? Ahh I understand now? I don't like the tone of your first two sentences. I said in the post you were responding to that so long as it is not a psychotropic drug I was pretty sure you don't have to declare it and, in fact, I don't. Do you have a problem understanding plain English?

Oh by the way, since you are the thread expert on obnoxious posts, could you please tell me if the 2 posts of yours I just quoted are obnoxious? If so I would like to say that they bring this board down and maybe you should stop frequenting this board and head over to the board where you are held in such high regard. The interesting thing about Smoothy's post is after he was run out of another forum for his obnoxious posts, he wrote to me by private mail and basically suggested I not respond to his posts and he would not respond to mine, there or here. He put me on his ignore list here, but can't seem to help himself and continues to stalk me. He along with one of his friends has essentially destroyed the Jakarta board here owing to their obnoxious behavior there, which I along with others objected to.

Particularly because he earlier suggested we not respond to each other here, one has to question what purpose was served by his post other than to prove once again he is a pathetic loser.

So why are there 3 of us here in the Thailand thread thinking the same about you. I guess we are all crazy and you are not so sensitive. I'm sorry mate.
