Stumble Inn, the outdoor beer bar on the Soi 4 side of Nana Plaza, was open tonight and had several customers at around 9PM. Either they jumped the gun by a few days or they are using their restaurant licence to open earlier than other bars in the area. That is, if many other bars here will open soon. They still need more potential customers to justify staffing up and opening. Interesting that a favorite Nana Plaza bargirl who has been in her province for months sent me a Line message last week and said she missed me (LOL) and was planning to come back to Bangkok on July 1, "opening day". That was last Sunday. I don't recall reading that the bars would be allowed to reopen until just a couple of days ago. I can't offer anything encouraging about discos. But there are several small bars in the Sukhumvit Soi 4, Soi 8 and Soi 11 area that have reopened already under the guise that they are restaurants that happen to serve alcohol rather than bars that happen to serve snacks. Although I do see more extensive food menus on display out front and I assume they do indeed have a restaurant licence. But I don't recall seeing anyine eating food in those places pre lockdown.

For instance, one of them is a small bar on Soi 8 near the corner of Sukhumvit Road that used to be called Today (at) 8. Now it is called Food And Drink. LOL. Good to put the word Food in there first.

I have only seen a scant few girls working in those newly reopened establishments and in the case of that bar all the girls seem now to be uniformed (logo on a black shirt) food and drink servers. But I recognize some as outright P4P bargirls from before.

At least it's a start.

Astute observation. Attitude is what gets girls sponsors, not the looks. Well, this is the Thai logic, instead of doing good job and ensuring regular customers (and not talking only for girls) they just see the thb they can make now in the easiest way.
