I used to just go pharmacies and just ask for C over the counter. Is this still possible? My friend tells me it's not possible anymore. When he last tried they all said no. He was trying the pharmacies along Sukhumvit between Asoke and Nana.

While I understand people feeling safer in buying Cialis from pharmacies when they are in Thailand, I have been buying it right off the street from the outdoor table vendors for years without a problem and with the same results I used to get when I bought it in the USA with a prescription. Yes, I have heard the rumors about it being dangerous and all of that. But, as I see it (and not trying to encourage anyone to buy from them, just reporting my years' long observation and experience), these sellers set up in the same spot every day and night so they are effectively as accessible after the fact as the brick and mortar pharmacy on the other side of the sidewalk, sell tons of the stuff every week and it isn't only to tourists who take the stuff, hop on a plane and then die somewhere else in relative secrecy. If all the expats who regularly buy Cialis and other such products at those tables were getting sick, dying or, worse, not seeing the results they expect from the product (LOL), wouldn't there be a parade of us marching back to the table to throw a fit? Those of us still alive, I mean.

I will say I was given a "gift" of a few of the 200 MG Cialis from one of my regular sellers that didn't do much for me. Not sure why that was the case. So I stick with the 100 MG version I usually buy, which works just fine for me. On Sukhumvit between Asoke and Nana, I get it for as low as 16 baht per tablet or about $. 50 USD per tablet at today's exchange rate. To get to that cost, I buy it by the "case" of six small plastic bottles, 10 tablets per box, for 1000 baht.

Anybody else have a different observation and report from first-hand experience about the outdoor table vendors' version of Cialis?

In the end of July I'll have a connecting flight in Bangkok. I'll arrive there at around 7 pm and have the next flight the next morning.

It will be my first time in Thailand so I wanted to see Bangkok for one night.

A friend advised me to go to Silom, where most tourists go.

A few questions:

1. Can I deposit my luggage at the airport? I intend to visit the city and then go back to the airport to sleep.

2. How can I get to Silom from the airport by train or bus?

3. Is it better to change cash into baht, or use a Visa card at the currency exchange?

4. Is there any street food or good typical Thai food near Silom?

5. Is there any good massage (nuru or soapy) parlor in Silom? And good gogo bars / BJ bars?

Ummm, no offense to your friend, but Silom (while not horrible) is not at all the place to go. I don't think your friend knows much about BKK. For a newbie, you probably want to head to Sukhumvit Rd. Around Nana Skytrain station unless you are after something quite specific (e. G. , high end soapie, then go to Ratchadipisek Rd_. There are endless possibilities to spend your 7 - 8 hours in BKK in and around Sukh. Road.

Yes, there is definitely baggage storage at the airport (Level 2, try google).

Given your short stay, you may want to pay for expedited passport control both entering and leaving which could (depends on the lines) save you 1 - 2 hours easily. You can jump a taxi at the official taxi stands to Sukh. Rd. For about 350 - 450 bhat. You can use an ATM to get money or just change money at the airport.

Don't arrive before 10:30 PM at Spasso, Climax not before 11:30 PM and Mixx (but based on experience over 1 year) not before 1:30 AM.

If you look to spending Spasso expect around 5 k, Climax around 2 K and Mixx I didn't take girls from there for a long time last times there where a lot of Russian / Mongolian etc and that's not my cup of tea.

I have always managed to get a girl in Climax for 1. 5 k. Sometimes I have assured her to pay a good tip if the service is good. They have always agreed to that and it ensures a 'performance incentive'.

Not really, no. Chinese tourists travel mainly in big groups, so it will not be easy to pick one of them. Even Japanese women travel rarely alone. Perhaps you may get lucky in or near Khao San Road. A lot of young people of all nationalities stay and party there. For sure there will be some Chinese and Japanese.

If you are looking for P4P Chinese then of course your best bet is to go to Chinatown. Some reports about mongering in that area have been posted in the Bangkok thread. In general the trend of those reports was that this area is "cheap, quick, mechanical and not easy to find". You will need some knowledge of Thai or Chinese (Teochew dialect?) to find your way around that area.

Japanese P4P must surely exist, but are quite probably "reserved" for Hi-so customers, such as top level managers of Japanese companies. Pseudo-Japanese gils (i.e. Thai girls dressed as Japanese girls) can be found in Soi Dead Artists (Sukhumvit Soi 33), but reputedly they are quite expensive. Many Japanese men spend their money here.
