I can't believe that people leave nearly $2000 or so lying around outside of a secure safe when they have a companion of unknown intentions and background in their rooms. Haven't you heard of in-room safes? Or, lacking that, lobby safe deposit boxes?

Having no special plans for Christmas night, along with a good buddy, we decided to have a little fun -- Bangkok style...

After discussing the various options, we booked a 28th floor suite at a Sukh Soi 23 hotel (right behind Soi Cowboy). I have seen dark skinned custromers in there previously though. So could be a combination of skin colour, appearance, how full the bar was, and not being a known customer.
