For me, I've found that I don't much enjoy the monger experience in Bangkok and basically only do the touristy stuff there. Mongering in Bangkok is extremely overpriced, Pattaya is much better bang for your buck. Last summer I started in Bangkok and had been chatting off TF with a girl and we met for ST and immediately the upselling began, not to mention she had been using extreme filters and so looked nothing like her pics. That left a bad taste in my mouth regarding Bangkok. For me, everything is just much more straight forward and to the point in Pattaya.
