I couldn't agree more with you, when I mongered in South America bar and club jumping was the way I did it. Now several (to many years later) new technology opens new scenes. In many Pattaya gogos it is actually cheaper to drink draft beer, at least during happy hour, which they heavily advertise with signs held up by the girls outside the gogos, than non-alcoholic drinks. And some gogos, although they don't advertise it, have cheap draft beer prices on their drink menus, like Palace, which has (had?) a 95 baht draft beer on it's drink menu.
