I was in BKK for 12 days or so in total, top and tail of my visit this time.

I don't know the bar name but when you are leaving Wood Bar on Soi 7 it and heading towards Sukhumvit it is directly across on the opposite side. The identifiers is a pool table across the way. The girl I saw told me she would be taking a 2 week break starting on 9/13 to take her son on a vacation to either Koh Samui or Pattaya. After reading hundreds of posts here, and in particular a post from Siamsin (I think that's his nick) where he explains how to find FLs through Twitter (https://mobile.twitter.com/search?q=...B8%99%E0%B9%8C) I gave it a shot prior to my visit here.

When I searched in Twitter, I was looking for an independent girl. How can you know if it's a freelancer or an agency? Pretty easily. In room theft is a big concern for me too. Total security is impossible, these are my security measures.

1. Before leaving my hotel room, everything of high value goes into the safe. I bring only a little more money with me than I'm willing to spend. I leave my room neat and orderly.

3. Upon arrival at hotel, reception holds girls ID, I ask reception to call room before returning ID, and I tip reception a decent amount, perhaps 200 baht.

4. When in room, I let the girl claim anyplace she wants to put her things. I claim a place far away where she would have no reason to be. That makes it clear what she is doing if she is close to my pants, which contain my wallet.

5. I stay in the same room as much as possible.

That is one of the reasons that I stopped using Ambassador on Soi 6. These cheapos screw it up for the rest of us Indians. They haggle over everything because they want it for free or close to it.
