This might all be true but the mongering venues do not die down, and I think that is what the OP wanted to know.
And anyway you hardly notice this 'die down' in a city with 14 million inhabitants. Unless when you're living there maybe.

We are going through a period of notably low quality of looks at the most easily surveyed BJ Bars in the area; L0litas, Kasalong and Wood Bar. None of the 3-4 above average lookers who could have been seen and taken at some point during the day or night shift have been working in them for a few months now.

Anne was only Loly girl that was doable for me, with a stunning ass. She left and I never returned. I note that BJ bars are generally expected to have the least good looking girls overall, although some MPs have very poor line ups. I haven't actually been to any BJ bar recently and if I did, would be for FS purposes.

I don't think girls looks overall are declining, at all, maybe just redistributed. I notice looking at all my girl pics from 10 years ago or more, none were that that exceptionally stunning, or maybe just Noi from Long Gun (who turned out to be a dud fuck for me).

It is clear I have become much fussier in my old age and my girl pics from recent years are much prettier, to my current taste.

Part of the reason is that my GF of 13 years was probably close to the prettiest girl I ever did (for my taste), maybe 3 or 4 slightly prettier in recent 5 years. So it is very hard to fuck ordinary looking girls. Just not exciting. Even harder to fuck a crappy body girl since my GF also had a super body, lacking obvious faults.

Some of the pretty girls now are Coyotes and some seem to work in Japanese oriented shops. What is left over in the MPs and BJ bars is not that exciting to me, even the average girls in a Soapy like La Belle are not quite interesting me, top few yes maybe. I accepted long ago that we have to pay a premium for pretty girls, in general. They are not going to be found as street walkers, as el cheepo BJ girls, and not likely to be pornstars.

Any girl that I would make a regular now, has to look well above average, and that means standard well above what I used to do generally 10 to 20 years ago, and has to have something special going for her. Otherwise just too boring.

Lets assume 80% of girls are in the average band and looks pretty "average", 15 to 20% very ugly and 1 to 5% quite pretty (Perhaps 1% is more realistic). 97% or more not very interesting to me. For sure we can find girls miles above the average looks, however we just have to get realistic, that this girl is not going to be in Loli-tas full of old bags. Price is also not likely to be bottom barrel unless there is a special reason, like newbie pretty Laos girl has zero English and has not even worked out yet how hot she is (yes this could happen).

I can find a great looking girl or three in Billboard (to my taste for skinny to slim). To date though, only had one BB girl that I repeated a few times, since she just had the attitude to hook a Farang BF, and sure she did very quickly. Need to try some more hotties there.

Crazy house is to small. Loaded with smoking Asians and just too crowded. The servers push the ladies on to the Asian boys and wait for the drink order. They had too many ladies on the stage when I went in and busy upstairs. An idiot at the door that wants a drink order before you go in and pay 170 baht for a beer. But they do have the best tall and shapely ladies in Cowboy.

CH is rarely full at times that I go there, or went there in recent months. Yes I hate the smoke. Don't worry it is still rumoured that CH will expand in the future perhaps into "Old Dutch", however I think the line up has declined too much, might be almost soon to be past its Used By Date. Best bodied girls in Cowboy? Quite unlikely maybe only best set of naked girls. Stage is far less crowded than Bacarra. 5 Star might be an option on much smaller scale, however music is quite horrible at times.

CH was good for its first 2 or 3 years for me, now not much interest any more. Decline is severe. Early days almost all the girls looked good. Still happy to fuck one of the founding dancer girls (5 years later).

I had a buddy who went to Dr. BJ's almost every day when he visited Bangkok. There was one girl there he absolutely raved about. The one and only time I tried Dr. BJ's was with that girl. I thought the BJ was mediocre and never returned.

Clearly it is greatly about how you go with a particular girl. At one time they had about 3 girls that I thought were hot enough in the body to be doable. Might seem a strange comment, but of course I rarely go to a BJ bar to get just a BJ.

My first girl ever tried in Dr BJ was mediocre too, and not hot enough. No reason for me to write the place off, just choose better. Did not exactly take a liking to some of the non Thai staff (one was okay). Also did not like how many Thai boys were hanging around those shops. I went there with a friend who wanted to go there maybe only 2 or 3 times ever. Most friends had little interest in it. Never took a girl to fuck from Biergarten (or is it Beer Garden) ever, unless my Alzheimers is getting bad. Hence would have little idea about fluctuation of Talent levels but I never saw any.

I know the girls at Thermae are much better looking, but sitting in Thermae and having a beer sucks. Biergarten is a much more pleasant environment to sit and have a few beers.

Weirdly, I have a much better rate of success for either BBBJ+CIM or BBFS+CIP with the younger, better looking girls in Thermae than with any of the women in Beergarden Soi 7, from the rare cuties to the marginally passable ones. Yup, a good place to sit and have a few beers at a good price. Good music and the food is not bad. Just wait for the diamond in the rough. There are always a few under 40 and ready to go. They all speak English so it makes it easy to define and agree on services and rates. No disappointments here, they are as horny as we are.

I don't think the name of the bar is at all relevant. Does not have to mean anything. They have to come up with something for the name. Yes few bars have the word "bar" in the name (at least I am guessing that. Never paid massive attention to such a detail). Maybe there are exceptions "Mercury Bar"? "Enter Bar"? (not even sure). Seems redundant though unless name is an adjective or verb needing a Noun. Ha ha. I am happy with you just calling it "Geisha" or Geisha bar, no problem at all.

The girls maybe trained not to hassle the customers. It is not that uncommon in bars for girls to dash outside to join the attempted customer pulling. I think if you want to buy a girl a drink, should be up to you to give her the signal if she looks in your direction, or to even go tell her, or get a staff member to do so. Some girls are very shy about being proactive or pushy. Indeed I hate pushy girls, myself.

So nothing in your report really put me off at all, except potentially the girls might not be pretty enough to hold my interest long. I would still go for a look for sure. Price of lady drinks and customer drinks can be a topic of interest, especially lady drinks, since can vary a lot. However you would not know if never bought one obviously.

Syzy, I don't recall any girl striking me as fitting your generally cited specs. But I am usually not in a "taking notes for a future report" mode during those times. Just cruising around with a positive attitude and seeing if I am inspired one way or another. I do recall my plain club sodas were 120 baht each at the 9PM hour. But, you're right that I did not find out how much a Lady Drink costs (or a beer or other alcoholic beverage) because I did not invite a lady to order one. Also, we know these new bars can swing far and wide on the issue of appealing lineups at first. One week it is bleak, the next week it is fine, the next week bleak again, etc. LOL. Remember that happening at Butterflies when it first opened?

On the name of the place, when I first looked up from the ground level of Nana Plaza and saw it simply as "Geisha" (although I did not make such a mental note of it that I was sure about that the next day), the thought occurred to me that IF the owners had intended any meaning at all to it other than simply a familiar Asian word for a certain kind of female, they might have been implying they intended to cater to a primarily Japanese customer base. And there was also the possibility that it was not going to be a typical go-go bar per se but a bar employing girls who will drink with, entertain and even dance for customers but are not typically available for sex. The classic definition of "Geisha". LOL. Much like some bars on Soi Cowboy that are mostly filled with non barfineable Coyotes.

Again, that was only from looking at the top floor signage from the ground level before I climbed the two floors up to go inside.

But the main reason I wanted to mention in passing about possibly being wrong about the exact name of the place with that one sentence early in my report was for the sake of the Search feature here and a certain kind of confusion about the names and locations of places that pops up every now and then. We don't know but that in a few months there will be a "Geisha BKK", a "Geisha Bar" or even a "Geisha Boy" in the area, brought to us by the fine folks who brought us "Geisha"!

After all, in and around Nana Plaza we already have a Mandarin Bar (upstairs) and a Mandarin Bar (upstairs upstairs), which have caused some confusion here in the past, a Twister and now a Twister BKK that have already caused some confusion, several Rainbow Bars, one that started out as Rainbow 4, switched to Rainbow 5 and is now back to Rainbow 4 again, and a collection of Hillary Bars. I just thought it might be a good idea to try to be as specific as possible about this bar in the first mention of it in this thread.

OK good to know. Didn't know I could walk in and see more girls. I never paid attention to all the Bangkok BJ bar posts in the past but now just want to try one.

Are there still BJ bars near Patpong? I remember reading about some in the past.

I think Star of Light is still open, and not sure its the same as the other bars, as I've never bothered to go there when there are all the other places on Sukhumvit. Never been a big fan of the patpong area or nightlife there.
