A few days ago I was able to spend 1 night in Bangkok. I stayed in a hotel close to the airport and decided to stay in the hotel for the night. Well if you were in your 60's, not very attractive looking, in Bangkok at the moment but thinking of going to Mtwapa, Kampala, Nairobi, Montego Bay, Angeles or Cebu lots of good intel there. Sadly if it's Bali, Ukraine or South Africa you're off to not much to go on.

Had a wander round yesterday. At least 4 shops on 24/1 lane way with one or two girls sitting outside inviting me in. A number of bars open here and there if you want a drink from a cup. Funny to see hardened booze heads having their "afternoon tea".

The other down side is returning Thais on your flight were not held to the same standards as a foreigner. How do you think all these new arrivals test positive when they get here but 72 hours before they were neg. On my flight the Thais did not need a neg. Test result to fly home.

Yes, Thai citizens are not required to take the PCR test.

If you want to be sure to travel with all people who have taken the test, you must choose those airline companies that have the obligation to covid-test for all passengers like KLM. If you use Emirates (for example), on the first leg you will be flight with alot of passegers that have not been tested.
