Ok, yep that's the place. I got my soi's mixed up a bit and was thinking Soi 21, which I use as a reference for Asok station. I know it's not really correct but it helps me with my visualisation of the area. Soi 23 is where Bradmans is, which I usually go to, hence why it came to mind.

I will add I saw a hot little hostess from another restaurant I have frequented in the past at the Hemingway's Soi 11 sitting with a couple of other girl friends all in seemingly full Freelancer mode. A new bar on Sukhumvit Soi 8 just opened a few days ago called 8 Bar. Interesting timing for a new bar to open smack in the middle of the biggest tourist area. Then again, Today @ 8 bar on the other side of the same soi has been very busy in the evenings during this period.

This new beer bar is totally open air. Has a pool table. There is little evidence of working girls yet, which is one of the things keeping Today @ 8 busy, imo. Well, my date and I walked by last night and I wasn't sure if the 2 girls we passed from 8 Bar waving us in were just drink servers or also hookers.
